    MRS. ANANDA MOSSE
    Mrs. Amanda Mosser [sic], wife of the late Jacob Mosser, died Monday morning at her home in Lykens Township. She was born in Northumberland Township, May 30, 1873, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elias Paul.
    Her husband died five years ago and she leaves to survive her the following children: Mrs. Polly Lettich of Sacramento; Mrs. Arthur Straub, Allen and Clair of Spring Glen; Mrs. Edwin Klinger, Miss Fronie Mosser, Lykens, R. D; Ira, of Elizabethville; Ray, Harry and Mrs. Clyde Smeltz, of Hegins R. D. Twenty one grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Williard of Lykens R. D., and a brother, Samuel Paul of Valley View, also survive.
    Her funeral took place from her home Thursday.

    Mausser Rites
    The funeral of Harry Mausser, 68, of RD1 Hegins, who died Saturday morning at Good Samaritan Hospital, will take place Tuesday afternoon in Zion's (Klinger's) Church, Erdman, with the Rev. Robert Eastlack, Klingerstown, officiating. Burial will be in Zion's Cemetery.
    Mr. Mausser was born Sept. 6, 1909 in Lykens Township, son of the late Jacob and Amanda Paul Mausser. He was a retired miner and farmer. He was of the Protestant faith. He was a member of Valley View Fire Company.
    Surviving are his widow, the former Gladys Wenrich; a son, Harry Jr., Norristown, and a daughter, Mary, wife of Glenn Schwalm, Elizabethville; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Polly Lettich, Lititz, Mrs. Edward Klinger, RD Lykens and Mrs. Anna Smeltz, Halifax.
    The Arthur R. Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View, has charge of arrangements.

    Mrs. Lydia Smith
    Mrs. Lydia Smith, 73, resident of Valley View, died at her home Sunday morning, following a lingering illness.
    She was born in Upper Mahantongo Township, July 1867, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elias D. Paul.
    She was a member of the Lutheran Church of Valley View, and was also a member of the Rebekah Lodge.
    Surviving the following children, Mrs. Elizabeth Michael of Gratz; Harvey of Dornsite, R. D; Guerney of Valley View. Two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Williard of Erdman, and Mrs. Amanda Maurer of Lykens Township, and one brother, Samuel Paul of Valley View, also survive. A sister, Mrs. Hanna Mauser, died recently. There are 29 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
    Her funeral will take place from the Buffington Funeral home on Wednesday morning with interment the Lutheran Cemetery at Valley View.
