    MRS. NORA WIEST
    Mrs. Nora Wiest, age 56 years, widow of Daniel J. Wiest, died at her home in Lykens Township, near Gratz, last Thursday.She was a daughter of the late George and Amanda (Miller) Williard, and was a native of Lykens Township. Her husband, and a son, Donald Wiest. preceded her in death. She was a member of the Lutheran Church.
    Survivors are three daughters and three sons, Mrs. Allen Mace of Lykens Township; Mrs. Alice Zimmerman of Tower City; Miss Bernice Wiest, Fred. Wiest of Klingerstown R. D; Arthur Wiest, Lykens Township, and Williard Wiest, at home. Other survivors are two sisters, Mrs. John Baum of Leck Kill; and Mrs. Brady Klinger of Williamstown; two brothers, Wilmington Wiliard of Williamstown and Francis Williard of Valley View; and ; thirteen grandchildren.
    Funeral services were held from the residence Monday morning, with further services in Simeon's Lutheran and Reformed Church at Gratz. Rev. W. Z. Artz, pastor of the Lykens Valley Lutheran Parish officiated and interment was made in the cemetery adjoining the church.

    Mrs. Strohecker, Native Of Hebe
    Mrs. Sally Strohecker, 89, of Montgomery, formerly of Klingerstown, died Monday morning in Muncy Valley Hospital, She had been a patient there for two weeks.
    Mrs. Strohecker was born Oct. 11, 1868 at Hebe, daughter of the late Adam and Mary Lesher Bonner. Her husband, William P Strohecker, died in 1947.
    She was a member of the As sembly of God Church, Spring [Glen].
    Surviving are the following children: Albert and Fred, both of Herndon R.D. 1; Mrs. Charles Klinger, Montgomery, with whom she had resided for the past two years; Mrs. Ira Rebuck, 513 North Fourth Street, Sunbury; Mrs. Jennie Knorr, Dornsife R, D; Mrs. Charles Coleman, Northumberland; and Mrs. Florence Metzger, Williamsport; 44 grandchildren, 74 great-grandchildre; and two brothers, Isaac Bohner, Herndon R.D., and Monroe Bohner, Pillow.
    Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from Rothermel funeral home, Klingerstown R.D. Burial will be in Salem Lutheran and Reformed Church cemetery. Klingerstown R.D. 1, in charge of Rev. James Stahl, pastor of Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Watsontown.
    Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday evening.
