    Eugene L. Geistwite, 86, of Lykens Township, passed away Monday at his residence. He was born Monday, Nov. 10, 1930, in Millersburg, a son of the late Louella Geistwite.
    He served in the Army.
    Gene retired from Penn Dye, Pine Grove.
    He was a member of Pine Creek United Methodist Church, Spring Glen.
    He was also a member of the Gratz Fire Company and a former member of the Erd-man Sportsmans Association.
    Gene enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cards.
    He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda L. Geistwite.
    He is survived by his wife, Twila N. Wolfe Geistwite, to whom he was married for 66 years.
    He is also survived by two sons, Randy A. Geistwite and his wife, Linda, Lykens Township, and David G. Geistwite and his wife, Debra, Gratz; a daughter, Heidi M. Zerby and her husband, Daniel, Lykens Township; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, John Forceskie, Arizona; three nephews.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, with the Rev Keith Rockwell officiating. A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be made in St. Peter's Cemetery Fearnot.     Mrs. Luella V. Forcheskie, age 29 years, widow of John Forcheskie, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Geistwhite, near Rife, Monday evening.
    Survivors are her parents, two sons, Eugene and John Forcheskie, at home; three brothers, Elwood, Theodore and Lester Geistwhite, all of Millersburg; and two sisters, Miss Dorothy Geistwhite, of Harrisburg, and Mrs. Lester Paul, of Millersburg R. D.
