Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Law-Jones Funeral Home, Savanna. Burial will be in Savanna Township Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Sunday.
She had been a waitress at Radke Hotel and at the Savanna News Stand. Shirley Hackett married Harold Zeeryp in 1957 in Savanna.

A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17, 1999, in Bateman Carroll Funeral Chapel for Blanche P. Dumpprope, who died Aug. 10 at age 71.
Mrs. Dumpprope was born Feb. 9, 1928, in Lincoln, Neb. Her maiden name was Hamilton. She graduated from Iowa State College. In 1952, she moved to Alaska and homesteaded near Wasilla until the late 1950s, when she moved to Anchorage, where she was a partner in Price Right grocery stores. In 1962, she moved to Gresham and was a manager for Grant Stores for 10 years, an 88¢ Store on 122nd Avenue for eight years, and then Space Age Fuel i in Gresham for 18 years before her retirement in 1998. In 1972, she married Wilfred J; he died in 1989.
Survivors include her sons, George Klinger of Eagle River, Alaska, Kaye Klinger and Dennis Klinger, both of Sandy, and Charles Klinger of Gresham; sisters, Lavona Strand, Juanita Vanderbuilt and Mavis Vanderbuilt, all of Lynxville, Wis; and six grandchildren.
Interment will be in Willamette National Cemetery. The family suggests remembrances to the American Heart Association.

Charles was the founder of Chuck Klinger Masonry (Klinger Masonry Inc.) He enjoyed playing the guitar, harmonica, banjo, basketball, golfing, traveling, casino trips, and most of all spending time with family and friends. Charles always loved a good social gathering.
Preceded in death by his father, Howard George Klinger; his mother, Blanche Pernella Dumpprope; and sister, Rhonda Klinger.
