CLINTON, Iowa -- Joan C. "Nonie" Hackett, 71, of Clinton, Iowa, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center-South Campus, Clinton.
Services will be held at the Clinton Chapel, Snell-Zornig-Dennis A. Lemke Funeral Home on Monday, Nov. 3, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be at the funeral home today from 2 to 6 p.m. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery, Clinton.
Pallbearers will by Mike Dithmart, Chris Schubert, Josh Flood, Dave Sanders, Ray Schubert and Katie Sanders.
Joan was born 23, 1931, in Lyons, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond and Myrtle (Stringham) Fredericksen. She married Marlin Hackett on Feb. 21, 1970, in Savanna, Ill.
Joan was employed at Collis Co. for more than 14 years before retiring in 1996. She had also been employed at the Clinton Garment Co. and Burpee Seed Co.
Survivors include her hus band, Marlin Hackett of Clinton; son, Mark (D.J.) Walker of Salt Lake City, Utah; daughter Vickie (David Sanders) Wiesner, of of Lowden, Iowa; daughtger Susan (Raymond) Schubert of Farmington, Mo; daughter Shandi Wessels, of Clinton; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Pauline "Pony" Dithmart of Clinton; brother, Raymond Fredericksen, of Fulton, Ill; and brother, Kenneth (Juanita) Fredericksen.
Her parents and a son preceded her in death.

Teresa M. Tower-Hoff, 55, of De Soto, Wis., died Sat., Dec. 12, 2015, in Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse, Wis. She was born in Milwaukee, Wis., on October 15, 1960, to Fred “Tom” and Sharon (Klinger) Tower. She married Tom Hoff on July 5, 1980, in The Little Brown Church, Nashua, Iowa, and the later divorced.
Teresa loved being in the Oceans and the Mountains. She also cherished spending time with her family who she loved so much.
She is survived by her daughters; Katerina (Mike) Manske of Stoddard, Wis., and Michelle (Tim) Murphy of Coon Valley, Wis., and one son Christopher ["C.J."] Lang of De Soto, Wis., five grandchildren; Mackenzie, Thomas, Juliette Manske, Bryce and Kylie Murphy. She is further survived by her parents; Fred Tower of Ferryville, Wis., and Sharon Tower of La Crosse, Wis., three sisters; Jill Cleven of Richmond, Virg., Cindy Van Gundy of Houston, Minn., and Dawn and (Tony) Paletta of Stoddard, Wis., and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, and one infant sister Heidi Tower.
Family and friends may visit from 3 to 6:00 PM Monday, Dec. 14, 2015, at the Blaschke &Schneider Funeral Home, 1501 West Ave. So., La Crosse, Wis., with a Celebration of life to be held at the Moose Lodge, 1932 Ward Ave., La Crosse, Wis., immediately following the visitation at. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
