Ray Melvin Klinger is also referred to as Melvin Ray Klinger in some sources. He was born on 8 January 1921, Altoona, Blair County, PA.1 He was the son of Charles Arthur Klinger and Pearl Margaret Isenberg.1 Melvin was inducted into the US Army in July 2, 1942, and served until November 7, 1945. He was in foreign service from December 311, 1943 until October 21, 1945.2 Ray Melvin Klinger married Ellen E. Yingling.3 At the time of the 1950 Census, Melvin was a stone cutter in monumental work, living in ALtoona with his wife Ellen and daughter Sandra.4 Ray Melvin Klinger died on 14 September 2005, at age 84.1 He was buried at Alto Reste Burial Park, Altoona, Blair County, PA.5

Frank.1 Myrtie Ardella Klinger married William Thomas Albright, son of Samuel Albright and Susan Snyder, on 15 October 1903, Liverpool, Perry County, PA.2 The 1910 Census lists Myrtie as head of a household in Liverpool, Perry County, PA, that included her daughter Julia A. Albright. Myrtie is listed as married for 7 years. Her household is listed next to her parents, Serenus and Agnus Klinger.3 Myrtie Ardella Klinger died on 19 January 1925, Liverpool, Perry County, PA, at age 39.4

Julia Agnes Albright was born on 21 November 1903.1,2 She was the daughter of William Thomas Albright and Myrtie Ardella Klinger.1 At the time of the 1920 Census, Julia was living in the household of her widowed grandfather, Serenus Klinger, in Liverpool, Perry County, PA.3 According to a newspaper report in September, 1921, in connection with the Estate of Julia's grandfather, S.E. Klinger, Julia's uncle J.W. Stailey was appointed her legal guardian. Serenus died in February, 1921, so apparently, as suggested by the 1920 census, Serenus was Julia's legal guardian, even though Julia's mother was still alive then.4,3 Julia Agnes Albright married Clair Edward Martin, son of Austin Martin and Katherine Allen, circa February 1923.5,6 In 1930, Julia was "single" and living as a roomer in the household of Ara M. Snyder, in Clearfied, PA, where she was a public school teacher.7 Julia Agnes Albright and Clair Edward Martin were divorced before 1940.8 Julia Agnes Albright died on 18 July 1969, Clearwater, Pinellas County, FL, at age 65.2

She was a title clerk for Dimmett Motors in Clearwater at her death. She was a former high school teacher at Pennsgrove Regional High School, a secretary to Weinbergs Furniture Co. at Pennsgrove, N.J., a secretary to Summuel's Oil Co. at Pennsgrove, N.J. and former owner of Park View Tavern in Pennsville, N.J.
She was a member of The Order of Eastern Star and The Order of Moose of Pennsgrove, N.J. and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Clearwater, Fla.
Survivors include a son, Maj. Clair A. Martin, USAF, Norton AFB, Calif; a daughter, Mrs. John A. (Barbara) Hall, Pennsville, N.J., and two grandsons.
Services were held at Moss Fort Harrison Chapel, Clearwater, Fla., July 21, with her pastor, Rev. W. Scott Bozemen, D.D., officiating. Interment at a later date at the Liverpool Cemetery, Liverpool, Pa. In lieu of flowers, gifts were and may be given to the American Cancer Fund.
