Mrs. Ellwood R. Klinger
Mrs. Barbara Klinger, 56, of 1148 Cypress St., Middletown, died Thursday at Frey Village Nursing Center, Middletown.
She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Middletown.
Surviving are her husband, Ellwood R. Klinger; two daughters, Mrs. Karen M. Turner of Mechanicsburg, and Mrs. Sue A. Hartman of Dillsburg; six sisters, Mrs. Margaret Hull and Mrs. Betty Withers, both of Linglestown, Mrs. Sara Naylor and Mrs. Mary Huffman, both of Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Elsie Bowman of Lykens, and Mrs. Nancy Kone of Camp Hill; two brothers, Neal Schreffler of Dover, and George Schreffler of Lykens, and five grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home at 260 E. Main St., Middletown. The Rev. Philip A. Lynch, her pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco.
A private viewing will be held at the convenience of the family.

She was born in Ireland, Jan. 3, 1914, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Slattery.
Mrs. Klinger was of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by a son, Joel, in 1966.
Surviving are her husband, Leon formerly of the Klingerstown area a daughter, Mary, wife of John Murray, Huntington Station, Long Island, N.Y; three grandchildren, and relatives in Ireland.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View. The Rev. Merlin Sjoberg, Klingerstown, will officiate. Interment will be in Zioh (Klinger's) Lutheran Cemetery, Lykens area.
