Adeline Bruella Wiest was born on 30 January 1897, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, PA. It is clear that Adeline's father was William Wiest, but is not clear which William Wiest this was, as there were at least 3 William Wiests of approximately the right age listed in the 1880 and 1900 Census records in Dauphin, Schulykill, and Northumberland County.2,1,3,4 She was the daughter of William Wiest and Eva Elizabeth Strohecker.1 The 1900 Census shows Adeline as living in the household of Emma Reed, with her mother, Lizzie Strohecker, Emma's servant.5 Adeline Bruella Wiest married Joel Orlando Klinger, son of Robert Edward Klinger and Mary Ann Mausser, on 25 October 1913, Zion (Klinger's) Church, Erdman, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, PA.6 Adeline Bruella Wiest died on 5 May 2000, Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg, Dauphin County, PA, at age 103.4,2

Adeline B. Wiest Klinger, 103, of Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg, formerly of Sacramento, died Friday at the village.
Born in Lykens, she was a daughter of the late William and Eva E. Strohecker Wiest.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Lykens, its Sunday school and the Rainbow Class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel O; two sons, Leon E. and Elwood R; a daughter, Eva F. Shade; four stepbrothers, Paul Artz, Francis Paul, Howard Paul and Harvey Paul; a stepsister, Katie Artz.
Surviving is a stepbrother, John Paul, Elizabethville; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Lykens. Interment will be in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Lykens. Kreamer Funeral Home, Jonestown, is in charge of arrangements.
