Teresa A.“Terri”Pinkerton Schultz, 58, of Middletown, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019, at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
Born in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of Susan Sovich Pinkerton, formerly of Lykens, currently residing in Palmyra, and the late William Pinkerton Sr.
Terri was a 1979 graduate of Upper Dauphin High School.
She was employed for over 29 years as a package handler with UPS, Harrisburg.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Schultz, 2007.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are two sons, Zack Schultz, Harrisburg, and Justin Schultz, Middletown; one sister, Susan Weidensaul and one brother, William Pinkerton Jr., both of Palmyra; mother-in-law, Glenda Geist, Williamstown; nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Terri’s life will beheld at 11 a.m.Wednesday, Feb. 6, from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home Inc., Tower City. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Private burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hope for Stroke Foundation, 485 Old Willow Ave., Honesdale, PA 18431, or UCP Foundation of Central PA, 55 Utley Drive, Camp Hill, PA 17011. Henry "Skip" Douglass, 80, passed away peacefully at home on August 31, 2013. He was born on June 10, 1933 in Hershey, PA to the late " Francis R.S. and Estelle (Gerber) Douglass. He graduated from Middletown High School in 1951 and then proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. After his tour of duty he attended Lebanon Valley College where he continued his High School Football career as Quarterback and earned a BA in Accounting. In 1956 he and Jacquie were married. He retired from ITT Terry Phone Corp. in 1988.
Skip was an avid pinochle player and a fun loving golfer and pool player. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and weekends at his cabin with friends and relatives. He also enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas with family. Henry had a keen sense of humor and could make a dime out of two pennies. He was an active member of the Middletown Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge 410 and the American Legion Post 594.
Henry faced his challenge with cancer with great dignity and personal grace.
Skip is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Dr. Jacquie F. Douglass, his 2 sons; Kirk D. Douglass of Marysville, PA and John M. Douglass & grandson Hunter Douglass both of Las Vegas, NV, his daughter Dr. Marcy J. Douglass & her husband Philip A. McCarthy of Carlisle and granddaughter Ariel Douglass-Devine of Harrisburg, his brother Francis Douglass & wife Christine of FL, his sister Anna Shupe & husband Kay of IN, his 2 cousins and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.
A Celebration of Life and Wake for Henry will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 4pm at the Middletown American Legion Post 594, 137 E. High St., Middletown, PA. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Henry's name to Lebanon Valley College Memorial Fund, 101 N. College Ave., Annville, PA 17003. Funeral services for Lester Roy Enterline, 34, who died at his home 433 South Second street, Lykens, Saturday at 7 P. M., death having resulted from an illness of asthma, were held from the home yesterday at 10 A. M., with Rev. Paul Scheirer, Lykens, and Rev. George Moyer, Halifax, officiating. Burial was made in the Enterline Cemetery.
Mr. Enterline was born in Jefferson Township and was the son of Lillie and the late Abraham Enterline. Beside his mother he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara Enterline and three children, Russell, Lester and Marlene. LYKENS -- Mrs. Clara E. Knorr, 76, of 570 South St. died Wednesday in Tremont Nursing Home.
Her husband, Gurney Knorr, preceded her in death.
She was a member of Lykens United Methodist Church; United Methodist Women; and Lykens Area Senior Citizens.
She is survived by three daughters. Marlene A. Wiest of Lykens. Carol M. Mattern of Elizabethville and Joyce L. Clark of Klingerstown RD; two sons, Russel L. Enterline of Halifax RD and Lester R.
