Clarence E. Leitzel, 66, Lenkerville died Friday. He was member of Hebron United Methodist Church and the AFL-CIO Union of Shop Craft Workers. He was a retired employee of the Penn Central Railroad.
Survivors include his wife, Mary V., five daughters, Mrs Paul Reigle and Mrs. John M. Geyer, both of Halifax; Mrs. Donald Geyer and Mrs. Donald Batdorf, both of Millersburg; and Mrs. Robert Gibson, of Middletown; a sister, Mrs. Mary Zimmerman, of Elizabethville; three brothers, Fred, Leroy, and Howard, all of Millersburg. Services, will be Tuesday.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Mary V. Leitzel; three sons, Melvin, Gettysburg; Warren with the Navy in Iceland, and Glenn, Dallastown; five daughters, Mrs. Paul Reigle and Mrs. John Geyer, both of Halifax; Mrs. Donald Geyer and Mrs. Donald Batdorf, both of Millersburg, and Mrs. Robert Gibson, Middletown; one sister, Mrs. Mary Zimmerman of Elizabethville; five brothers, Alvin, Baltimore; Merril, Lemoyne, and Fred, Leroy and Howard, all of Millersburg; 21 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday at 2 with the Rev. Frederick Benetch officiating. Burial was in Long's Cemetrey, Halifax.

Rodney D. Leitzel was born on 4 January 1954, Danville, Montour County, PA.1 He was the son of Glenn Hubert Leitzel and Alberta E. Schoffstall.1 Rodney D. Leitzel died on 5 October 2015, Spring Garden Township, York County, PA, at age 61.1

Rodney D. Leitzel, 61, of Spring Garden Township, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Monday, October 5. He was the beloved husband of Joleen (Smith) Leitzel.
Mr. Leitzel was born in Danville, PA on January 4, 1954 and was the son of Alberta "Bert" Leitzel and the late Glenn H. Leitzel. In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his son Ryan Leitzel of York, and his two sisters, Brenda Firestone and Glenda Stewart. Additionally, he is also survived by his two nieces, Amanda Firestone and Allison Gleeson.
Rodney lived life to the fullest. An avid cook and wine aficionado, he tended an extensive herb garden. An accomplished golfer, he played courses all over the country. As a lifelong musician, he played and sang professionally for a number of years. He loved to entertain and formed lasting personal and business relationships throughout his life. He was also a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Dallastown.
Following cremation, a memorial service to honor Rodney's life will be held at Noon on Friday, October 16 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 109 E. Main St., Dallastown, with the Rev. Roger Mentzer officiating. A visitation with the family will be held at the church on Friday, and will begin at 10 AM until the start of the service. Interment will be private. The Austin H. Eberly Funeral Home, Inc., Dallastown, is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Rodney's name can be made to Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
