Betty A. Scheib, 81, of Rest Haven, Schuylkill Haven, formerly of Hegins, passed away Sunday [January 29, 2012] at Rest Haven.
She was born in Gratz, Dec. 1, 1930, a daughter of the late Lester and Margaret Troutman Scheib.
She was a graduate of the former Hegins Township High School.
Betty was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Fountain.
Betty was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence Scheib and Donald Scheib.
She is survived by a brother, Robert F. Scheib, Hegins.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, with the Rev. Claude Schach officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation. Eleanor Eva Coleman was born on 9 December 1932, Hegins Township, Schuylkill County, PA.1,2 She was the daughter of Gurney A. Coleman and Neva Estella Stutzman.2 Eleanor Eva Coleman was baptized on 10 March 1933, Friedens Reformed Church, Hegins, Schuylkill County, PA.1 She married Robert Francis Scheib, son of Lester L. Scheib and Margaret E. Troutman, on 19 July 1952.1,3 Eleanor Eva Coleman and Robert Francis Scheib were divorced on 17 March 1994 Schuylkill County, PA.4 Eleanor Eva Coleman married Lewis Franklin Miller, son of Herman H. Miller and Mabel Lucinda Smith, circa June 1994.1,5 Eleanor Eva Coleman died on 23 February 2022, Providence Place, Pine Grove, Schuylkill County, PA, at age 89.2

She was born on Friday, December 9, 1932, in Hegins Township, a daughter of the late Gurney Coleman and the late Neva (Stutzman) Coleman.
She was a 1950 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School.
Eleanor worked in area garment factories prior to her retirement.
She was a member of Christ United Church of Christ, Fountain.
Eleanor enjoyed gardening, crafting, traveling, and spending time with her family, especially her great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by three brothers, Charles Coleman, Robert Coleman, and Donald Coleman, and by a sister, Arlene Otto.
She is survived by her husband Lewis F Miller, to whom she was married for twenty-seven years.
She is also survived by two daughters, Cindy L Bloch and her husband Randy of Hegins and Debra S Conrad and her husband Bill of North Myrtle Beach, SC; a step son, Larry R Miller and his wife Patsy of Hegins; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; a sister, Nancy Troutman of Herndon; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Michael C Klahr officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View.
