PITMAN - Mrs. Naomi Tice, 57, wife of Wilbert L. Tice, died at her home Sunday, April 15 after an illness of a year.
She was bom at Weishample, RD, Hegins, May 16, 1921, a daughter of the late J. Grant and Cora Neumeister Klinger.
Mrs. Tice was a member of Zion Evangelical Congregational Church, Pitman and a member of Camp No. 433 Woodmen of the World Lodge, Pitman.
She was a graduate of Hegins Township High School, Class of 1939 and had been employed by Valley View Enterprises, Valley View before her illness.
She was united in marriage to Wilbert L. Tice on October 28, 1939 at Pitman.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children: Capt. Larry G. Tice, Monroeville, Dawn, wife of Ronald Huntzinger, RD4, Halifax, James L. Tice, RD, Millersburg and Dennis K. Tice, RD, Elizabethtown; seven grandchildren; four brothers, Luther Klinger, Valley View; Paul Klinger, Palmyra, Timothy Klinger, Hegins; and Byrd Klinger, Gilberton; three sisters, Mrs. Valeria Dunkelberger, Hegins, Mrs. Lavada Galligan, LaVern, Calif., and Mrs. Esther Geist, California.
A daughter, Doris Heim, died in 1969.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 19 at 11 a.m. from the Lawrence E. Rothermel Funeral Home, RD, Klingerstown. The Rev. Abram E. Rhoads, her pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery. The family requests no viewing Wednesday evening. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.3
She was buried on 19 April 1979, at Zions Evangelical Congregational Church Cemetery, Pitman, Schuylkill County, PA.3,5
