     Sarah C. Kieffer was born on 21 February 1910, R.R. 1, Dornsife, Northumberland County, PA.2 She married Henry L. Brosius.1 Sarah C. Kieffer died on 28 April 2004, Nottingham Village, Northumberland, Northumberland County, PA, at age 94.2

DORNSIFE - Sarah C. "Callie" Brosius, 94, of Star Route Dornsife died at 12:40 a.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2004, at Nottingham Village, Northumberland, where she had been a patient since March 18.
She was born Feb. 21, 1910, at RD1 Dornsife, a daughter of the late Samuel and Sarah Etta (Schreffler) Kieffer. She was united in marriage on April 16, 1927, to Henry L. Brosius, who preceded her in death on May 31, 1994.
Mrs. Brosius was educated in the Union School at RR1 Dornsife.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Brosius was a lifelong member of Himmels Lutheran Church, Rebuck.
She enjoyed gardening, especially raising flowers and vegetables, and also enjoyed quilting, knitting and crocheting.
Surviving are one son, Guy H. Brosius of Silverado, Calif; two daughters, Marge Bordner and Virginia and her husband Jon "Jack" Klinger, all of RR2 Herndon; 10 grandchildren, Christine Wilson, Kim, Ty and Todd Bordner, Tammi Burns, Randy and Robbin Klinger, Linda Wittes, Trisa Wolfe and Gregory Klock; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mazie Snyder of RR5 Sunbury, Pauline Rebuck of Montgomery, Erma Rebuck of Dornsife and Anna Hampton of Vacaville, Calif; two brothers, Earl Kieffer and Robert Kieffer, both of RR1 Dornsife; nieces; and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jean L. Klock, on Oct. 14, 2002; two sisters, Marie Barbour and Florence Alva Brosius; and four brothers, John, David and Kenneth Kieffer and one in infancy.
Friends and family may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Himmels Church at Rebuck, where the funeral will follow at 11 with the Rev. Frederick Faust, her pastor, officiating.

     James H. Wittes was born on 8 March 1937, New Berlin, PA.2 He was the son of Roy D. Wittes and Dorothea Nagle.2 James H. Wittes died on 9 February 2008, Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, Montour County, PA, at age 70.2

James H. Wittes, 70, Selinsgrove
SELINSGROVE - James H. Wittes, 70, of 114 Pine Brook Road, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born March 8, 1937, in New Berlin, a son of the late Roy D. and Dorthea I H. (Nagle) Wittes. He married his wife of 23 years, the former Linda M. Klock, on Aug. 5, 1984, who survives.
A 1955 graduate of Selinsgrove High School, he served in the Army from 1956 until 1959, and was stationed in Verdun, France from June 1957 until December 1959.
He was a member of Catawissa Ave. United Methodist Church, Sunbury.
Jim actively volunteered in many organizations and was a vibrant member of his community. He was always willing to help anyone in need.
In addition to his wife, Linda, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Kevin Baker, of Winfield; two stepsons and stepdaughters-inlaw, Conn and Nikole Meckley, of Selinsgrove and Joel and Keri Meckley, of Lewisburg; three sisters, Ruth E. Spangler, Julie N. Adams and Doris A. Brouse; and six grandchildren, Shawn and Sarah Baker, of Winfield; Camryn and Travis Meckley, of Selinsgrove and Gavin and Isabella Meckley, of Lewisburg. The family would also like to fondly remember his former stepdaughters, Jody Reggia, of Freeburg and Cindy Seal, of Selinsgrove, and his many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, John and Robert.
Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Catawissa Avenue United Methodist Church, 319 Catawissa Ave., Sunbury, and again from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Officiating will be his minister, Pastor Robert Stump. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Selinsgrove.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to either Catawissa Ave. United Methodist Church, 319 Catawissa Ave., Sunbury, PA 17801, or World Vision, P. O. Box 78481, Tacoma, WA 98481-8481.
Arrangements are being handled by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, S. Second and St. Louis streets, Lewisburg.
