Daniel J. Lenig was born on 27 March 1951, Sunbury, Northumberland County, PA.1 He was the son of Ernest Leonard Lenig and Arlene M. Smeltz. Daniel J. Lenig married Ruth E. Fink, daughter of Wayne C. Daniel J. Lenig, of Macungie peacefully went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 20, 2023. Born March 27, 1951, in Sunbury, PA, he was the son of the late Ernest L Lenig and Arlene M Lenig. He was married to Ruth E. Lenig for over 40 years until her passing in 2016 and then married to Veronica (Bryant) Lenig since 2017.
Daniel worked in the plumbing industry for most of his life. Worked at Wayne Feather in Emmaus, Modern Plumbing, and Maitz Home Services before retiring in 2010. He was an avid history buff, Phillies and Eagles fan and enjoyed teaching and helping others.
In addition to his wife, Daniel is survived by his sons, Jason Lenig of Macungie and Daryl Lenig of Macungie, grandchildren, Amber (John) Diehl and husband Ryan of Macungie, and Alec of Emmaus; great grandchildren, Adalyn, Malakai, and Scarlett; sister, Diane Daubert.
Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 26th at Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Rd., Breinigsville. Friends and family are invited to call from 10:00-11:00 prior to the service at the funeral home.

He was born in Northumberland.
Married in 1946, he and his wife, Esther, celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary this year.

SUNBURY - Titus Leroy Bordner, 60, of 339 S. 10th St. died at 2:05 p.m. Tuesday in the Sunbury Community Hospital, where he had been a patient since March 11. He had been in ill health for the past two years.
Born June 2, 1922, in Port Trevorton RD1, he was the son of Mrs. Mary Bahner Bordner Clark of Sunbury and the late Clarence Emmerson Bordner.
Mr. Bordner was employed at the Mifflinburg Body Co. until 1943. He then entered the Army and served in the European and Pacific Theater of Operations. Following his honorable discharge in February 1946, he began working at the Olmsted Air Force Base in Middletown, from where he retired in 1965.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Jean Condran of Hershey, Mrs. June Carr, Mrs. Leslie Fetchen and Mrs. Jeanette Still, all of Harrisburg, Mrs. Susan Smith of Middletown, Mrs. Brenda Weist of Sunbury and Miss Nancy Bordner, address unknown; two sons, Richard L. of Williamstown and Barry B. of York; 21 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the George P. Garman Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant Mills, by the Rev. George V. Peters. Burial will be in the Aline United Methodist Church Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Mills RD1.
Friends may call in the funeral home Thursday evening.

First Bike Ride Ends In Tragedy
With fourth grade just completed last Friday, 10-year-old Bonnie Jean Condran's first bike ride of summer vacation ended in tragedy.
The little girl died Saturday afternoon when the bike she was riding collided with a car in South Hanover Township.
A student at the Derry Township Homestead Road Elementary School, Bonnie was riding her 10-speed bike south on Duke Street when the accident happened. According to state police, the girl disregarded a stop sign at the intersection with South Hoernerstown Road and rode into the path of a car driven by Brian D. Fackler, 18, Hummelstown RD4.
Fackler was driving west on South Hoernerstown Road.
Bonnie was taken to the Hershey Medical Center by the Hummelstown Ambulance and died there shortly after. Dauphin County Coroner Dr. Thornas Pritchey listed the cause of death as multiple injuries.
No charges were filed against Fackler.
The Condran girl attended Stoverdale United Methodist Church and Sunday School Classes. She also studied tap dancing at the Hershey School of Ballet for two years.

Bonnie Jean Condran, 10, of Hummelstown RD 3, died Saturday at Hershey Medical Center of injuries suffered in an accident.
She completed the 4th grade at Hershey Elementary School, attended the Sunday School class of Stoverdale United Methodist Church and completed two years at Hershey Educational Cultural Center tap dancing class.
Surviving are her parents, Milton D. and Jean Bordner Condran; a sister, Connie D., and two brothers, Donald E. and Ronald B., all at home; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Titus L. Bordner, of Sunbury; maternal great-grandfather, Herbert Lenig, of Frackville; paternal grandmother, Esther M. Condran, of Royalton; paternal great-grandfather, Charles F. Condran, of Middletown; and paternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Kathryn Judy, of Middletown.
Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Stoverdale United Methodist Church with the Rev. Warren A. Swank, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Stoverdale Cemetery.
