    DORNSIFE - M. Durell Mullen, 78, of Dornsife RD1 died at 6:01 p.m. Friday, March 31, 1995, in his home.
    Born April 7, 1916, in Dornsife RD1, Washington Township, he was a son of the late Homer and Mary Alice Rebuck Mullen. He married the former Ruby H. Reiner on Dec. 23, 1950, in Pitman.
    He was educated in Washington Township schools.
    Mr. Mullen was a farm laborer and Washington Township highway employee, retiring in 1980.
    He was a member of Himmels Lutheran Church, Rebuck.
    In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Vivian Engle of Elizabethville and Sandra Inch and Leah M., both of Dornsife RD1; a son, Gary L. of Dornsife RD1; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Edward of Rebuck and Lamar of Northumberland; and a sister, Margaret Zeiders of Millersburg.
    The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Himmels Church, Rebuck, by the Rev. Frederick Faust of Dornsife RD1. Burial will be in Himmels Cemetery, Rebuck.
    Visitors may call from 9:30 to 11. a.m. Tuesday in the church.
    Contributions may be made to Himmels Church Memorial Fund, Rebuck, Pa. 17867. Arrangements are by the Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, Klingerstown RD1.

    Ruby Mullen, 99, formerly of Dornsife, PA passed away Sunday, December 16th, at Premier at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg.
    Ruby was born in Pitman, PA on April 24, 1919. She was the daughter of the late Lizzie M. (Rebuck) and Victor Y. Reiner.
    She was a lifelong member of Himmels Church, Dornsife.
    Ruby was the widow of Durell Mullen, who passed away March 31, 1995.
    She graduated from the former Pine Park High School, Leck Hill
    Following high school, Ruby worked at the Johnson Bailey Shoe Factory in Millersburg prior to marriage.
    She enjoyed raising her four children, and cared for the family farm, canning and jarring everything that grew. She was later employed at the Spread Eagle Egg Factory in Dornsife. In her later years, Ruby enjoyed quilting, making a special quilt for each of her grandchildren, as well as many other friends and family.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary, on Dec. 2, 2015, sister, Katie Reiner, and brothers Charles, Daniel, Harry, and John Reiner.
    Ruby is survived by three daughters, Sandra , wife of Donald Wendt, of Dornsife; Vivian, wife of Clair Engle, of Elizabethville; Leah Mullen, of Dornsife; 10 Grandchildren; 17 Great Grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
    Ruby is also survived by a sister Mabel Starr who was also her roommate while at Premier.
    Viewing is Thursday 10-11 A.M. at Himmel's Church, 107 Covered Bridge Road, Dornsife with a Funeral Service at 11AM, with Pastor Jane Compton officiating.
    Interment will follow in Himmel's Cemetery.
    Donations can be made to Himmels Church Memorial Fund or Himmels Church Youth Mission.2
