    Roy R. "Snuffy" Straub Jr., 82, of Klingerstown, and most recently Berrysburg, died Saturday at Friendly Nursing Home, Pitman.
    Born in Klingerstown, March 17, 1930, he was a son of the late Roy and Blanche Reed Straub.
    He graduated from Pine Park High School, Leck Kill, and was employed as a dock worker for various truck companies, retiring in 1988 from Pilot Trucking.
    After retirement, he worked at Blyler's Fruit Farm and mowed grass for St. Michael's Cemetery and Klingerstown Fire Company
    He was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, the Erdman Sportsman Club, Klingerstown Fire Company Mahantongo Rod and Gun Club and belonged to the Teamsters Local 776 for 30 years.
    He enjoyed hunting and was a Philadelphia Phillies fan.
    Snuffy played baseball for 20 years in local leagues and coached Little League for 15 years.
    He was preceded in death by a sister, Jackie Reitz.
    He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Margaret Carl Straub.
    Also surviving, are four children, Bill Straub and his wife, Sue, Valley View, Cindy Fry and her husband, George, Klingerstown, Jeff Straub, Klingerstown, and Julie Weaver and her husband, Warren, Lykens Road; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three nephews; and cousins.
    A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Klingerstown, where the funeral will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jonathan Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery Klingerstown. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael's Lutheran Church, PO. Box 71, Klingerstown, PA 17941. Stephen R.     Jeffrey Roy Straub, 62, of Klingerstown, passed away on June 17, 2024, at his home. He was born in Lykens on April 1, 1962, a son of Margaret Straub and the late Roy Straub. Jeffrey retired from ABF where he worked as a yard jockey, forklift driver and had various other responsibilities.
    He was an avid Harley rider, enjoyed model trains and was a huge Chiefs fan. He was a member of the Erdman Sportsman's Club and Gratz VFW.
    Jeffrey is survived by his son, Wyatt Straub; a brother, Bill Straub; two sisters, Cindy Fry, Julie Weaver.
    A visitation will be held on June 24, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am at the James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow. Interment will take place in the St. Michael's Cemetery, Klingerstown.2

    Jacquetta "Jackie" M. Reitz, 77, of Harrisburg, passed away Friday, at Harrisburg Hospital.
    She was born on March 9, 1934, to the late Roy and Blanche (Reed) Straub.
    She was a charter member of Tree of Life Lutheran Church, where she was on the Hospitality Committee and a Tree of Life Volunteer. She was active with Central PA Lupus Association.
    She is the widow of the late Ray L. Reitz.
    Surviving are her three sons, Brady R. and his wife, Gabriela of Gulf Breeze, FL, Timothy R. and his wife, Sherry of Greencastle, Brian R., and his wife Jodi of Temperance, MI; her brother, Roy Straub of Klingerstown and ten grandchildren.
    Memorial services will be held on Monday, June 20, 2011, at 11 a.m., at Tree of Life Lutheran Church, 1492 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, 17110. The Rev. Richard B. Geib and Rev. Catharine Senft Geib, will be co-officiating. There will be a visitation from 10 - 11 a.m., at the church. Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at 9:30 a.m., at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
