  Services for Clyde E. Bressler, 90, of 1016 W. Maple St., Valley View, who died Wednesday afternoon at the home of his daughter in York, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View. The Rev. Claude Schach will officiate. Interment will be in Fountain Community Cemetery, Fountain.
  Born in Hegins Township, April 26, 1911, he was a son of the late Charlemagne and Ida Eckler Bressler. He was a 1930 graduate of Hegins Township High School.
  He retired from Alcoa, Cressona.
  He was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Hegins, where he was a former deacon; a member of the Valley Lodge 797, F&AM, Valley View; Ashler Knights Templar Prince of Peace Commandry 39; Harrisburg Consistory; Rajah Temple, Reading; Valley View Fire. Company; National Rifle Association; Organization Committee of Tri-Valley Charities.
  He was preceded in death by a brother Burd; a sister, Gertie Bressler.
  Surviving are his wife of 65 years, the former Margaret Updegrave; a, son, ClyJe A., Toronto, Canada; a daughter, Lorraine Miller, York; a brother, James, Williamsport; a sister, Helen Allvord, Hegins; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

  Margaret Kathryn Bressler, 88, died on Tuesday, July 29, 2003 at her daughter's home In York. She was the wife of Clyde E. Bressler who died in 2002.
  Born December 20, 1914 In Valley View, Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late Charles R. and Mary R. (Schwalm) Updegrave.
  She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Heglns, Pa. She retired from the former Philmark Mfg. in Valley View where she was a seamstress.
  She is survived by a son, Clyde A. Bressler of Delta, Ontario, Canada; a daughter, Lorraine Miller of York; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mildred Kuntzleman of Tower City, Pa. She was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Updegrave.
  A viewing will be Saturday 9 to 11 am. at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., Valley View. The funeral service will be 11 a m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Claude Schach officiating. Burial will be in Fountain Community Cemetery, Fountain, Pa. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice of York, 218 E. Market Street, York, PA 17403.

Maple St., Valley View, who died Sunday at Geis-inger Medical Center, Danville, will be held at 11 a.m Wednesday from Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View, The Rev. Floyd Sollenberger will officiate. There will be no viewing tonight, but there will be viewing prior to services. Interment will be in Gratz Union Cemetery.
