    Mark Thomas Klinger
    Mark Thomas Klinger, age 82, passed away June 25, 2025, in Tonto Basin, AZ. Born in West Reading, he was the son of Charles and Helen (Steely) Klinger.
    Mark was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School, and subsequently received his AA Degree from Mesa Community College, AZ. He served in the United States Air Force in active duty as well as a reservist. Mark always appreciated the opportunities the Air Force gave him to learn about and see many countries of the world. Until his retirement in 1999, Mark also had a fulfilling career in the emissions testing program of the Air Quality Division of the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality.
    Mark loved his adopted state of Arizona. Some of his greatest pleasures were hiking and sharing Arizona’s rugged and scenic areas with family and friends. He was known for his vast knowledge of the history of the area in which he lived.
    Mark is survived by his son, Troy (Denise) Klinger; grandchildren Tana (Dave) Conway, Victoria Klinger, Thomas Klinger, and Joshua Roher; great-grandchildren Natasha and Forest Conway; former wife Margaret Klinger; sister Irene Asp; sister-in-law Sue Klinger; son-in-law Bob Roher, and many nieces and nephews.
    Preceded in death by his beloved daughter Natasha Roher; parents Charles and Helen Klinger; brothers Harold Klinger, Larry Klinger, and Carl Klinger; sister Alice Henry; sisters-in-law Kathy Klinger and Sylvia Klinger; and brothers-in-law Lynwood Henry and Waldo Asp.

    Harold Ray Updegrave, 87, of Valley View, passed away August 3, 2022 at Mount Carmel Senior Living Community, Mount Carmel, PA.
    He was born on February 26, 1935 in Gratz, PA, a son of Russell A. and Mary E Williard Updegrave.
    Harold was a graduate of graduate of the former Hegins Township High School, Class of 1953.
    He served in the Army during the Korean Conflict, serving 9 1/2 years overseas, with 3 deployments in Germany.
    Harold was a Equipment Operator for 25 years for Wayne W. Knorr Inc. Contracting, Bloomsburg.
    He was a lifetime member of the Hegins Valley Fire & Rescue, and also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Millersburg.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn M. Updegrave, on December 8, 2020, after 62 years of marriage.
    Harold is survived by two sisters, Jeannette Smith of Valley View, and Ruthann Flannery of Hegins, as well as nieces and nephews.
    Burial will be made in St. Andrew's Cemetery.
