  Herman H. Miller
  Herman H. Miller, 89, who built homes in the Hegins area for more than a half century, died Monday afternoon in Good Samaritan Hospital.
  Mr. Miller, of South Good Spring Road, Hegins, was a farmer in the Dalmatia area for about seven years and then started in the carpentry business, a field in which he worked for 55 years.
  He was born in Hegins Township, Oct. 25, 1896, a son of the late Jonathon and Mary Alice Kessler Miller He was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Hegins.
  Surviving are his wife, the former Mabel Smith; five sons, Harold, Hegins area, Lewis, Valley View, Steward, Clyde and Lamar, all of Hegins; a daughter, Mrs. Glen Clark, Salisbury, Md; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
  Services will be held Thursday at the convenience of the family from Miller Funeral Home, Valley View. There will be a public viewing. The Rev. Donald J. Schwartz will officiate. Interment will be in Friedens Lutheran Cemetery, Hegins.
