VALLEY VIEW -- Lee W. Kembel, 54, of 710 Main St., died Sunday in Good Samaritan Hospital, Pottsville.
He was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Hegins.
He was a member of the Hegins Fire Company, the Independent Miners Assn. and the Valley View American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alverda I. Kembel; two daughters, Mrs. Judith Miller of View and Miss Jane Kembel, at home; a son, Gary, at home; four sisters, Mrs. May Geise and Mrs. Elwood Weist, both of. New Cumberland, Mrs. Raymond Thomas of Tremont and Mrs. Carolyn Weist of Williamstown; four brothers, Edward of Harrisburg, Norman and Ralph, both of Hegins and Earl of Spring Glen, and two grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday 110:30 a.m. in Friedens United Church of Christ. The Rev. Larry Potteiger, his pastor, and the Rev. Burlington B. Latshaw Jr., pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church of Valley View will officiate. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church tomorrow after 6 p.m.
