Glenn R. Klinger
Glenn R. Klinger, 701 Hanover Manor, died this morning at his home. He was 64 years old.
Mr. Klinger was born Nov. 8, 1906 in Harrisburg, a son of the late William and Cerilda House Klinger. Formerly of Harrisburg, he came to Carlisle from Lansford, Carbon County in December, 1969. He had been an employe (sic) of Pennsylvania Power & Light, retiring after 30 years service in Harrisburg and most recently in Lansford. He was a member of Allison United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah Hoffman Klinger; one son, Frank G. Klinger, Harrisburg; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Shumate, Miami, Fla; Mrs. Glennette Bruno, Harrisburg; Mrs. Lois Evans, Carlisle; and Mrs. Gladys Carder, Germany; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Arnold, Harrisburg, and 11 grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the G. Book Roth Funeral Home, Walnut Bottom Road at Belvedere Street. The Rev. Dr. Newton H. Frtichley (sic), his pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Friday from 1 to 2 at the funeral home.

She died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 1999 at the center.
Born June 2, 1910 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Sterrett Hoffman and the widow of Glenn R. Klinger.
She was a member of Allison United Methodist Church, Carlisle.
Surviving are a son, Franklin of Harrisburg; four daughters, Mary Shumate of Miami, Fla., Glennette Cochran of Harrisburg, Lois J. Klinger Evans and Gladys Carder, both of Carlisle; a brother, Albert Hoffman of England; three sisters, Mary Shearer of Freberg, Ellen Hoffman of Carlisle and Phoebe Barrett of Frederick, Md; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Karen E. Layman will officiate at services. Burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens, North Middleton Township.
There will be no viewing; however, friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Albert was raised on a large working farm in Dayton, TN, along with his ten brothers and sisters. He was the owner of the former Cochran Garage in Harrisburg; a life member of VFW Post 148, Lower Paxton Twp; and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving are his wife, Glennette S. Klinger Cochran; two daughters, Linda S. Kuharic of Summerdale and Marianne White of Harrisburg; two step-daughters, Bobbi L. Sweeney of Camp Hill and Toni M. Petroski of Harrisburg; three brothers, John, Fred and Donald Cochran, all of Dayton, TN; two sisters, Sue Pickett of Sail Creek, TN and Jerry Walker of Dayton, TN; four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2004 in the Neumyer Funeral Home, Inc. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Inc., Lower Paxton Twp. Viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 22nd (today), in the funeral home.

VICTIM KILLED IN ACCIDENT IS IDENTIFIED
Fairview Twp. police yesterday released the name of the accident victim killed late Saturday in a one car accident on Pleasant View Road near Exit 17 of I-83.
They said Albert B. Cochran, 26, of 1005 S. 16th St., Harrisburg, was pronounced dead on arrival at Holy Spirit Hospital following the 9:30 p.m. crash.
Cochran was a passenger in a car driven by Roy Allen Schue, Jr., 25, of 538 S. 16th St., police said. Schue was treated and released, according to reports.
Police said the accident occurred when the car failed to negotiate a sharp right hand curve and plunged over guard rails down a 75 foot embankment. They said they were assisted at the accident scene by the township fire department.

MILLERSBURG - Lois M. Krotser, 78, a resident at the Manor at Susquehanna Village and formerly of Union Street, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2008 in the Manor.
She was born Friday, September 13, 1929 in Minersville, PA, daughter of the late Luther and Anna Zimmerman Black.
She worked as a clerk for the PA Department of Revenue. She helped deliver Meals on Wheels in the Millersburg area and was a polling clerk for elections in Millersburg. Lois enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert P. "Soapy" Krotser, Sr.
Surviving are three daughters, Sally Gotshall-Bowersox, wife of David Bowersox and widow of Michael Gotshall of Aspers, Linda Leonard, wife of Randy of Annville, Kathy Mumma, wife of Mick of Halifax; a son, Robert Krotser, Jr. and his wife, Cindy of Millersburg; a brother, Robert Black of Millersburg; a sister, Peggy Hoffman of Halifax; grandsons, Matthew Leonard, Travis Mumma, Dylan Mumma, Brandon Krotser, Cody Krotser and Kyle Krotser; granddaughters, Erin Leonard, Susan McCauslin and Karen Shafer; four great- granddaughters; a great grandson; and two great- great grandchildren.
Inurnment will be Friday February 29, 2008 at 10 a.m., at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
Memorial services will be held at First United Methodist Church, 356 Union Street, on Friday, February 29, 2008 at 2 p.m., with Rev. Karen Atanasoff officiating.
