    LYKENS - Leo D. Schmick II, age 84, passed away April 28, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
    He was born on December 17, 1937 in Lykens, the son of [the late] Leo and Irene (Reichembach) Schmick.
    Leo was retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Harrisburg.
    He had graduated from the Lykens High School and played football in high school. He had many interests and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was an avid sports fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State sports and loved going to the casino's.
    Surviving are his wife, Anne L. (Schlegel) Schmick; Children, Michael (Chris) Schmick, Darryl (Pat) Schmick and David R. Schmick; Step-children, Kerry (Sandra) Matter, Kimberly (Dennis) Graham and William (Jan) Schlegel; Sister, Patsy Yentsch; Grandchildren, Davey (Brandy) Schmick, Bryant (Lisa) Schmick, Dionna Schmick, Tasha Lavas and Ashley Lavas. Blessed with 11 Great Grandchildren, several nephews and nieces.
    He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Lavas; Siblings, Francis, Billy, Joe, Regina, Delores and Joanne; Brother-in-law, Eugene Yentsch.
    There will be a visitation held at Calvary United Methodist Church, Wiconisco on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 10-11 AM Services at 11AM will be officiated by Rev. Annette Shutt. Burial will follow the services at Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco.
