    Irene E. Klinger, 96 of Crystal River, Florida died on Tuesday, August 25, 2015. She was born on Sunday, June 29, 1919 to Elmer and Emma (Schucker) Osman in Hegins, Pennsylvania. Irene moved to this area in July of 1958 from Hegins, Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Crystal River United Methodist Church, worked in the lunchroom at the Crystal River Middle School for over 23 years and volunteered at Seven Rivers Community Hospital.
    Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Klinger in 1984; by her daughter, Diane Palovitz; brothers, Clifford and Richard Osman and sister, Ruth Nipper.
    Survivors include her son, Rick E. Klinger and wife Carol of Crystal River, Florida and grandchildren, Misti Klinger of Crystal River, Florida, Marc Palovitz of Pennsylvania and Beth Progin of Pennsylvania.
    Visitation, Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 1:00 PM with a Chapel Service at 2:00 PM at Fero Funeral Home. Graveside Service will follow at Fero Memorial Gardens.9

    Leroy E. “Lefty” Troutman, 82, of 1360 Taylorsville Road, Ashland, died Friday morning at the Friendly Nursing Center, Pitman.
    Born in Pitman, Sept. 30, 1923, he was a son of the late Edwin and Mamie Maurer Troutman.
    He attended Butler Township High School and was employed as a pourer and pressman for Bethlehem Steel Company, Steelton, until his retirement in 1985. He was a life member of the Lavelle Fire Company.
    He was of the Protestant faith.
    He was preceded in death by three brothers, Whalen, Dean and Darrell; a stepbrother, Allen Troutman; five sisters, Brenda Kaleda, Deanna Wetzel, Fern Schickley, Margaret Scheib and Violet Kerner; a son-in-law, Bernie Klusman; a great-granddaughter, Stephanie Smith; and a great-grandson, Kendrick Klusman.
    Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Jacqueline Klinger Troutman; five daughters, Judith, wife of Richard W. Fritz, Ashland, Donna, wife of Elvin Krise, Sterling, Va., Linda, wife of Lowell Newton, Lavelle, Karen, wife of Franklin Paul Hepler, Taylorsville, and Susan, wife of Charles Klinger, Taylorsville; two sisters, Betty Todd, Girardville, and Nancy Wolfgang, Levittown; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday from Christ United Lutheran Church, Airport Road, Ashland. The Rev. Robert Hoenich, pastor of Christ United Lutheran Church, and the Rev. Bonnie Yeager, pastor of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Barry Township, will officiate.
    Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Barry Township.
    Viewing will be at from 9 a.m. until services Tuesday in the church. There will be no evening viewing Monday.
    Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, Ashland, has charge of arrangements.2
