    Henry M. Schade
    Henry M. Schade, aged 76, a resident of Spring Glen for 49 years, died at the Fountain Spring Hospital, Thursday, July 19th, after suffering for four weeks with complications.
    Mr. Schade was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Schade, being born in Gratz, September 26, 1851. November 16, 1879, deceased was married to Martha Wolfe, who with the following children survive: Mrs. Joel Mauser, Shamokin; Harry, Jacob and Mrs. Homer Umholtz, Gratz; Mrs. Harry Hoke, Henry and Laurence, Valley View. Two brothers, two sisters and twenty-eight grandchildren also survive.
    Funeral services were held Sunday morning, July 22, services being conducted at the home and church by the Rev. Sultzbach and Rev. Naftzinger. Burial was made in the Sacramento cemetery.

    MRS. MARTHA SCHADE
    Mrs. Martha Schade, wife of the late Henry Schade, Spring Glen, died Thursday evening at her home, after a lingering illness.
    She was born Sept. 30, 1860, and was a member of the Lutheran and Reformed Church at Sacramento.
    Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Jennie Mosser. Shamokin; Harry, Spring Glen; Elmer, Sacramento; Jacob, Berrysburg; Mrs. Homer Umholtz, Gratz; Mrs. Harry Hoke. Spring Glen; Lawrence Valley View. There are 32 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren: one brother, S. S. . Wolfe, Camden, N. J; and a sister, Mrs. Annie Gordon, Pottsville.
    Her funeral will take place Tuesday morning from her home and interment will be made in Sacramento. H. E. Miller, Valley View, is in charge.
