Daniel Edgar Ramberger, 88, a lifelong resident of the Klingerstown, R. D. area, died in Schuylkill Haven Hospital at 4 p. m. Monday of complications. He had been hospitalized for the past 4 months.
Mr. Ramberger was born January 7th, 1871, in the Klingerstown, R. D. area, son of Daniel and Fromena Brown Ramberger. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church and Sunday School, Klingerstown, R. D.
His wife, Mary Ramberger, preceded him in death in 1919. Surviving are the following children: William Ramberger, and Mrs. Leonard Morgan, Klingerstown, R. D; Mrs. Stanley Klinger, of Klingerstown; Mr. Lloyd Harner, of Loyalton; Mrs. Annie Shade, of Gratz, and Mrs. Floyd Klinger, of Dornsife, R. D. Twenty-five grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at 2 p. m. from Salem Lutheran Church. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. Rev. Marvin Earl Klinger, 83, of Dornsife, passed away peacefully Monday, September 3, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.
Marvin was born in Snowdale, on July 24, 1935, a son of the late Laura (Ramberger) and Floyd A Klinger.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Lena (Snyder) Klinger; they were married Dec. 18, 1954.
Marvin graduated from the Mahanoy Joint High School in 1952 and then served in the US Army and was stationed in Korea. After being discharged from the Army he used the G.I. Bill to attend Williamsport Technical School and graduated from there in 1959.
He owned and operated Marvin E Klinger Inc. and was a bus contractor and wrecker operator .
He was a member of Himmel's Church of Rebuck, the IOOF Mahanoy Lodge #551 of Dornsife, F&AM Herndon Lodge # 702, the American Legion Post 504 of Mandata and the Herndon Fire Company. He was also a member of the 10 Dutchmen Camp, Pennsylvania School Bus Association and was active with the PA Dutch Fersammling.
He was and avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time at camp. He liked anything powered with an engine and was proud to have earned his Pilots license.
Marvin is survived by a daughter, Jeanne, wife of Richard Adams; two sons Dennis, husband of Denise Klinger, and Michael, husband of Kelly Klinger, all of Dornsife; a brother, Willard Klinger, of Trevorton; six grandchildren; Merissa (Klinger) Rosenella, Jordan Adams, Tarryn (Adams) Walsh, Ryan Klinger, Amanda Klinger, Collin Klinger; and 7 great grandchildren, Logan and Wyatt Adams, Alexander and Brianna Rosenella, Casey and Riley Walsh and Cooper Klinger.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 6:30-9 PM at Himmel's Church and from 9-11 AM Friday, September 7 at the Church with the funeral service following at 11:00 AM with Pastor Jane Compton officiating. Interment will follow in Himmel's Cemetery.

TREVORTON - Willard L. Klinger Sr., 81, of Trevorton, entered eternity Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2023, at Nottingham Village, in Northumberland, where he had been a resident since July.
He was born in Snowdale, March 9, 1942, a son of the late Floyd A. and Laura A. (Ramberger) Klinger.
He is survived by his wife, Connie M. (Neidig) Klinger. They celebrated 63 years of marriage on May 7.
Willard graduated from Mahanoy Joint High School, in 1960, and received a certificate in automotive technics and management from Vale Technical Institute, in Blairsville.
Willard was a self-employed electrician, having owned and operated Tri-Edison Electric from 1972 until his retirement.
He attended Emmanuel Bible Fellowship Church, in Sunbury.
Willard had the gift of gab. He could talk to most anyone and his family joked that they couldn't go anywhere, including family vacations, without Willard running into someone he knew. He liked to tease, and while he may not remember a person's given name, he, with 100% accuracy, would remember the nickname he gave that person.
In addition to his wife, Willard is survived by his children and their spouses, Dawn and (James) Kramer, Willard Lee Jr. and (Lori) Klinger, Grace and (Don) Brubaker and Dale and (Jennifer) Klinger; eight grandchildren, Adam and (Andrea) Kramer, Grace and (Akiva) Blickstein, Kevin and (Johanna) Klinger, Olivia Brubaker, Derek Brubaker, Nathan Klinger, Emily Klinger and Lauren Klinger; and a great-grandchild, Micah Vaeth.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Marvin E. Klinger; and an infant brother.
KLINGER - Willard L. Klinger Sr., 81, of Trevorton. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Emmanuel Bible Fellowship Church, 967 Mile Hill Road, Sunbury, with Pastor Ronald Murphy officiating. Viewing will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday. Burial will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington. REBUCK -- Guy J. ''Jeff Snyder Sr., 83 of Rebuck died at 6:10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 1995, at Sunbury Community Hospital, where he was a patient since Nov. 9.
He was born. Jan. 24, 1912, at Leck Kill, a son of the late Sylvester J. and Adda C. , (Schreffler) Snyder. He was married to the former Margaret I, Hoch on March 1, 1930.
Mr. Snyder was a farmer. He was last employed at the Marvin E. Klinger Garage, Dornsife RD1, before retiring in 1972.
He was educated in Zion's School, Upper Mahanoy Township. He was a member of Himmels Lutheran Church, Rebuck, where he was a former church council member; Greenbriar Grange; and Pennsylvania Farm Bureau. He was a former member of the Junior Mechanics of Herndon and was a former Washington Township supervisor, serving as secretary for many years.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are four daughters, Mae A. Moyer of Rebuck, Lena M. Klinger of Dornsife RD1, Evelyn D. Rothermel of Dornsife and Ruth Macoviak of Pottstown; three sons, Guy J. "Jeff' Jr., Marvin L. and Paul D., all of Dornsife RD1; 24 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one sister, Nelma Walborn of Dornsife RD1; one brother, Ivan of Sunbury RD3; and one uncle.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, June Snyder, in 1934; one sister, Alda Latsha; and three brothers, Norman, Claude and Raymond Snyder.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Himmels Church, Rebuck, by the Rev. Frederick L. Faust. Burial will be in Himmels Cemetery.
Visitors may call from 9 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the church.
Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to Himmels Church Memorial Fund, Rebuck, Pa. 17867.

REBUCK -- Margaret I. Snyder, 95, of Rebuck, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2007, at her home, where she resided for 60 years.
She was born in Rebuck on Oct. 16, 1912, a daughter of the late Levi and Alice (Latsha) Hoch. She was married on March 1, 1930, to her husband, Guy J. "Jeff" Snyder, Sr., who died Jan. 30, 1995.
She was educated in the Morning Light School in Washington Township.
Margaret was a homemaker who loved her family. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, raising flowers and playing cards.
She was a life-long member of Himmel's Lutheran Church at Rebuck, having been a choir member for over 70 years and a member of the Women of the Church and was also active in numerous church activities.
She was a former member of the Greenbrier Grange.
Surviving are seven children and spouses, Mae Moyer of Rebuck; Ruth Macoviak of Pottstown; Marvin Snyder and his wife, Caroline, of Sunbury; and Lena Klinger and her husband, Marvin; Guy "Jeff" Snyder Jr. and his wife, Mary; Evelyn Rothermel and her husband, Lamar; and Paul Snyder and his wife, Janet, all of RR1 Dornsife; 22 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren, five step grandchildren, several step great grandchildren and step great great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, June Snyder, in 1934; five sisters, Maude Kauffman, Grace Bordner, Bertha Rebuck, Mabel Snyder, and Ada Hoch; and four brothers, James, Fred, Francis and William Hoch.
A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Himmel's Church at Rebuck, where the funeral will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Peter Bergstresser officiating.
Burial will be in Himmel's Cemetery, Rebuck.
Memorial contributions may be made in Margaret's memory to the Himmel's Church Memorial Fund, Rebuck, PA 17867.
