Ray E. Klock
Ray E. Klock, 62, of Dornsife area, died at 6 p.m. Sunday in his home. He was ill for trie last two years.
He was born in Little Mahanoy Township, April 23, 1925, a son of the late Daniel and Martha Erdman Klock.
He owned and operated Klock's Parts Center, Sunbury, retiring in May 1985. At one time he owned Brosius Mills, Rebuck, and was later a manager of Brosius Motors, Dornsife area.
He was a 1943 graduate of Trevorton High School.
Mr. Klock was a member of Himmel's Lutheran Church, Rebuck, where he served as treasurer for 20 years, until December 1986.
He was a member of Herndon Lodge 702, F&AM, Harrisburg Consistory and Harrisburg Shrine, Herndon and Klingerstowh Fire companies, and Crissman Hunting CLub, Mifflin County.
He was married to the former Jean L. Brosius on Jan. 1, 1947, at Red Cross.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret Erdman, Mae Troutman, and Grace Bordner.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two daughters, Linda Wittes, Selinsgrove area, and Trisha Wolfe, Sunbury area; a son, Gregory, Sunbury area; four grandsons; a brother, Walter Klock, Dornsife area.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Himmel's Church. The Rev. Paul Billow will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, Klingerstown, is in charge of arrangements.

KLOCK -- Jean L. Klock, 75, of RR1 Dornsife died at 2:56 a.m. Monday morning, Oct. 14, 2002, at her home following a four-month illness.
She was a daughter of Sarah C. (Kieffer) Brosius of RR1 Dornsife and the late Henry L. Brosius. She was married to Ray E. Klock, who preceded her in death June 14, 1987.
She was a 1946 graduate of Pine Park High School, Leck Kill.
Mrs. Klock was a homemaker. She was a member of Idella Rebekah Lodge 58, Dornsife.
Mrs, Klock was a member of Himmel's Lutheran Church, Rebuck.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda M. and James Wittes of RR3 Selinsgrove and Trisa L. and Gary Wolfe of RR1 Sunbury; one son and daughter-in-law, Gregory R. and Judy Klock of RR5 Sunbury; four grandchildren, Conn and Joel Meckley and Christopher and Brian Wolfe; one stepgrand-daughter, Pam Baker; four greatgrandchildren, Camryn, Gavin, Isabella and Travis Meckley; two stepgreat-grandchildren, Shawn and Sarah Baker; two sisters, Margie Bordner and Virginia Klinger, both of RR1 Herndon; one brother, Guy H. Brosius of Silverado, Calif; nieces; and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Himmels Church, Rebuck, by the Rev. Frederick Faust, her pastor.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Evangelical Hospice, 1 Hospital Drive, Lewisburg, PA 17837.

DORNSIFE -- Anna L. Bucher, 90, formerly of Dornsife RD, died at 12:15 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, 1992, at Sunbury Community Hospital, where she was admitted on Saturday. She was a resident at Mountain View Manor, Trevorton Road, for seven years.
Born April 28, 1902, in Jackson Township, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Sevilla Schwalm Erdman. In 1919, she married Harry Bucher. He died in 1959.
She lived in Dornsife area most of her life.
She worked at Muskin Shoe Factory, Millersburg, for many years before retiring.
Mrs. Bucher was educated in Jackson Township schools.
She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Red Cross; ladies aide society of the church; charter member of Dornsife Idella Rebekah Lodge No. 58; past noble grand of .the lodge; member of Tri-County Past Noble Grands Association; and member of Herndon Senior Citizens.
She is survived by three daughters, Arlene Deppen of Elizabethville, Lena Konyar of Trevorton and Shirley Maurer of Williamsburg, Va; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Paul; a grandson; a great-grandson; seven sisters; and three brothers.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Red Cross, by the Rev. Glenn B. Keidel Jr. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Red Cross.
Visitors may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the church and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the church. Dornsife Idella Rebekah Lodge No. 58 will conduct a service at 8 Thursday at the church.
Arrangements were made by the Robert G. Foust Funeral Home, 841 W. Shamokin St., Trevorton.

HERNDON - Mrs. Sadie E. Spade, 84, Herndon, died Saturday afternoon in Sunbury Community Hospital, where she was admitted earlier the same day. She had been in ill health since May.
Born at Herndon RD1, May 22, 1904, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Savilla (Schwalm) Erdman. Her first husband, William Kahler, died in 1935, and her second husband, Charles E. Spade, died in 1975.
She was educated in the Herndon area schools. She was a member of Himmels United Church of Christ Church, Rebuck, and had been an active member of the Women of the Church; member of Idella Rebekah Lodge, Dornsife RD1; and the Herndon Senior Citizens.
Mrs. Spade is survived by a companion, H. Elmer Dietz of Millersburg; one son, Carl W. Kahler of Dalmatia; two daughters, Mrs. Arleah Erdman of Summerdale and Mrs. Marlene Herrold of Herndon; two stepchildren, Mrs. Elenore Erdman of Dornsife RD1 and John Spade of Dornsife; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Anna Bucher of Shamokin RDL
A son, Earl Kahler, died in 1985, and an infant son, Mark, preceded her in death. Six sisters and two brothers also preceded her in death.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Himmels Church, Rebuck, by the Rev. Harry Colver of Lewisburg RD1, interim pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitors may call in the church from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday. The Idella Rebekah Lodge will hold a service at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the church.
Contributions may be made in her memory to the Himmels Church Memorial Fund, Rebuck.
