ORAN - Francis John Youngblut, 90, of Oran, died Friday, June 17, at Grandview Care Center of natural causes.
He was born Feb. 27, 1921, in Oran, son of Frank Youngblut and Anna Phillips, He married Mary Ellen Klenzman on July 1, 1942, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oelwein.
Mr. Youngblut owned and operated Youngblut Feed and Fertilizer for many years then purchased the Elevator-Younglbut Elevator in Oran. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survived by: his wife; four daughters, Barbara (Dennis) Yungtum of Waverly, Carol Francis Youngblut of Fairbank, Marilyn (Larry) Briddle of Nelson, Mo., and Darlene (Bruce) Smith of Boonville, Mo; six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: five sisters, Agnes in infancy, Mable Slater, Josephine Freitag, Margaret Chase and Helen Campbill; and three brothers, Leo, Burton and Lawrence.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fairbank, with burial in the church cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Woods Funeral Home, Fairbank, with a 4:30 p.m. rosary. Military rites will be conferred by Fairbank American Legion Fortsch-Duffy Post 552.
Memorials: may be directed to the Oran and Fairbank Fire Department.

STODDARD, Wis. -- Anne D. Klinger, 74, rural Stoddard, died Monday, Jan. 17, 1994, at her home. She was born Aug. 23, 1919, to Gabriel and Fern (Mills) Dagnon. She married Otis Klinger Sept. 21, 1940. They lived in Ferryville where they owned and operated the Grandview Motel until 1979 when they moved to rural Stoddard. Anne was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, De Soto.
She is survived by her husband, Otis of Stoddard; a son, Jan (Sandra) Klinger of Stoddard; a daughter, Sharon Tower of De Soto; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia (Robert) Sebastion of Prairie du Chien. Anne was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Virginia, in infancy.
The funeral Mass will be Thursday, Jan. 20, 1994, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church, Genoa. The Rev. O.W. Schulte will officiate. Entombment will be in Mormon Coulee Memorial Park, La Crosse. Friends may call at Larson Funeral Home, De Soto, Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. Friends may also call at the church after 9:30 a.m.
