GRATZ -- John M. Kissinger, 87, of Lykens RD, died Saturday at his home.
Surviving are five sons, Blair A., and Roy [Ray] A., and John D., Kissinger, all of Lykens RD, Roy E. of Dalmatia and Robert M. Kissinger of Gratz; a daughter; Mrs. Eugene Starr, Gratz; two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Shade, Gratz and Mrs, Tessie Miller, Lykens RD; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Simeon's Church. The Rev. Robert Logan will officiate. Burial will take place in Gratz Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the church Tuesday from noon until time of the service.

She was born on 3 August 1890, Girardville, Schuylkill County, PA.2 She married John Melvin Kissinger on 26 August 1911, Lutheran Parsonage, Elizabethville, Dauphin County, PA.3 Laura Etta Phillips died on 17 May 1941, Ashland State Hospital, Butler Township, Schuylkill County, PA, at age 50.2 She was buried on 21 May 1941, at Simeon United Lutheran Church Cemetery, Gratz, Dauphin County, PA.2,4

MRS. LAURA KISSINGER
Mrs. Laura Kissinger, age 50 years, of Lykens Township, wife of John Kissinger, died in the Fountain Springs Hospital, Ashland, Saturday morning.
Mrs. Kissinger was a daughter of Charles and Susan (Troy) Phillips, and was a native of Gir- ardville, Pa.
Survivors are her husband and six children, Ray Kissinger, of Gratz; Mae, Mrs. Eugene Starr, Roy, John, Robert, and Blair Kissinger, all at home; and five grandchildren. Other survivors are her mother, Mrs. Susan Phillips, of Hegins; and the following brothers and sisters, William, Howard and Ralph Phillips, of Gratz; Mrs. Samuel G. Martin, of Elizabethville; and Mrs. William Minnich, of Hegins.
Funeral services were held from the residence Wednesday afternoon, with the Rev. W. Z. Artz, pastor of the Lykens Valley Lutheran Parish officiating. Interment was made in the Gratz Cemetery.
