     Alice Wiest was born on 14 January 1918.1 She was the daughter of Daniel Wiest and Nora Williard. Alice Wiest married Ralph Leroy Zimmerman, son of Alvin Osmond Zimmerman and Carrie Rebecca Klinger, on 30 September 1936, Elizabethville, Dauphin County, PA. Alice Wiest died on 4 December 2000, at age 82.1 She was buried at St. John's Cemetery, Orwigsburg, Schuylkill County, PA.2

Shirley R. (Zimmerman) Stewart, 76, of Tamaqua died Wednesday at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem.
She was the widow of James E. Mellor and Harry V. Stewart.
Shirley had worked for several garment factories, last working for JE. Morgan's, Tamaqua.
She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Tamaqua.
Born in Jefferson Township, Dauphin County she was the daughter of the late Ralph Zimmerman and the late Alice (West) Zimmerman.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sherry (Mellor) Miller, wife of Kevin, Coal-dale; and Kelly (Mellor) Dirzulaitis, wife of Mark, Coaldale; three sons, Stanley Mellor, Tamaqua; William Mellor and his wife, Nancy Tamaqua; and Kenneth Mellor and his companion, Tammy Tamaqua; two sisters, Charlotte Hendricks, New Ringgold; and Faye Smith, Halifax, Pa; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, where the family will receive friends Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
The funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Saturday at 11 a.m.
Interment will be at St. John's UCC Cemetery Orwigsburg.
Memorials in her honor may be sent to the Tamaqua Adult Day Care, 300 W Broad St., Tamaqua, PA 18252.

Charlotte Marie Hendricks, 76, of New Ringgold, passed away Thursday at Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
Charlotte was born in Tower City, July 11, 1941, a daughter of the late Ralphy and Alice Weist Zimmerman.
She was the widow of Charles J. Hendricks Sr.
She was a member of Christ Church McKeansburg and worked as a cutter at Garden State Tannery Fleetwood, where she retired.
She was preceded in death by grandchildren, Stevie Lynn, Travis J. Grube and Michelle Rose; great-grandchildren, Kajia Houtz and Santos Miranda; sister, Shirley Stewart.
Charlotte is survived by four daughters, Pamela K. Dalton, companion of John Madara, Debra A. Houtz, Tina M., wife of Randy Grube, and Michelle K. Hendricks; two sons, Charles J. Hendricks Jr., companion of Betty See, and Steven S. Hendricks, husband of Elena; sister, Faye, widow of Edward Smith; 11 grandchildren and she was looking forward to her 16th great-grandchild.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Orwigsburg. Friends are invited to call from 9 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Christ Union Cemetery, McKeansburg.
