P. Ray Fenstermacher was born on 15 November 1930, Nescopeck, Luzerne County, PA.2 He was the son of William Allen Fenstermacher and Eva Troutman.2 P. Ray Fenstermacher married Donna Marie Ruhmel, daughter of Donald Leroy Ruhmel and Marie Arabella Erdman, circa 1990.1 P. Ray Fenstermacher died on 10 January 2017, Berwick, Columbia County, PA, at age 86.2

P. Ray Fentstermacher, 86, of Berwick passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at home, surrounded by his family.
Born in Nescopeck on November 15, 1930, he was a son of the late Allen and Eva (Troutman) Fenstermacher. He was raised and educated in Nescopeck. For 40 years, he worked in the maintenance department Wise Foods, Berwick. After retirement, he was employed part time at Tuzzi’s Bakery.
Ray was an avid hunter and fisherman. He liked taking trips to the casinos. He spent many hours tending to his garden. He was a talented woodworker, making many items, including all the furniture in his house. No matter what he was doing, his loyal companions, Bella and Buddy were always at his side, and they will sadly miss him.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 27 years, Donna M. (Ruhmel) Fenstermacher; daughters, Mary Lee Hunsinger and husband Karl, Berwick; Rae Ellen Earl and husband Ron, Berwick; Lucy Rado and husband Antonio, Orangeville; stepsons, Scott Reader and wife Tina, Berwick; Robert Reader and wife Terri, Nescopeck; 17 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; mother-in-law, Marie Ruhmel; several nieces and nephews; and numerous extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Atwood Fenstermacher; and sister, Marguerite Seward. He was the last of his immediate family.
At Ray’s request, there will be no services.
His family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Commonwealth Health and Hospice for their help and support. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ray’s memory may be made to Commonwealth Home Health and Hospice, 109 West 9th Street, Berwick, PA 18603.

Robert E. Reader was born on 10 August 1976, Berwick, Columbia County, PA.2 He was the son of Earl E. Reader and Donna Marie Ruhmel.1 Robert E. Reader died on 13 July 2020, Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, Montour County, PA, at age 43.2

Robert E. Reader, 43, of Hobbie, passed away peacefully Monday, July 13, 2020 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville following a long battle with cancer. Born in Berwick on August 10, 1976, he was a son to Earl Reader and the late Donna (Ruhmel) Fenstermacher.
Bob was a graduate of Columbia Montour Area Vocational Technical School, Class of 1995. While in high school, he began working at Kevin Ryman, Inc. He continued working until he was no longer able, just a few short months ago. Bob was very active in the fire community and had served as chief of the Hobbie Volunteer Fire Co. since 2008. He was also a member of Ranger Hose Co. in Berwick. He enjoyed antique farm machinery, and had been a member of Preservers of the Past. Bob was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as camping. His greatest joy, however, was his family and the time spent with them.
Surviving Robert is his loving wife, Terri, whom he married November 15, 1997. Also surviving are his children: Rachel Reader and boyfriend, Mason Vandermark, and Caden Reader, both of Hobbie, brother: Scott Reader and wife, Tina, of Berwick, step-mother: Priscilla Reader, grandmother: Marie Ruhmel of Berwick, and “in-laws”: Doug and Chris Davis of Nescopeck.
In addition to his mother, Bob was preceded in death by his step-father, Ray Fenstermacher.
As a result of current restrictions, Bob's funeral 11:00 AM Saturday, July 18 at Berwick Assembly of God, 801 E. 5th Street, Berwick, is private. The funeral will be streamed at www.berwickag.org. Pastor Eugene Chapin will officiate. Friends will be received from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, July 17 at Kelchner, McMichael & Readler Funeral Home, Inc., 119-121 E. Third Street, Berwick.
