     Luther Vallen Wedde was born on 14 February 1910, Barry Township, Schuylkill County, PA.2 He married Anna Margaret Hinkel.1,2 Luther Vallen Wedde died on 4 June 1987, Broad Mountain Manor Nursing Home, Frackville, Schuylkill County, PA, at age 77.2

Luther V. Wedde
Luther V. Wedde, 77, formerly of Ashland area, died Thursday in Broad Mountain Manor Nursing Home, Frackville.
He was born in Barry Township, Feb. 14, 1910, a son of the late Harry and Cora Kimmel Wedde.
He was a retired miner and farmer.
Mr. Wedde was a member of St. John's (Kimmel's) Church, Ashland area.
His wife, the former Anna Hinkel, died in 1963. A sister, Annie Peiffer, Ashland area, also died Thursday.
Surviving are two sons, Harry, Ashland area, and Boyd, Hegins; two daughters, Annette Troup and Margaret Mitchell both of Ashland area; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Catherine Steckel, Camp Hill.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in St. John's (Kimmel's) Church. The Rev. Lou Ann Earnst, Ashland, will officiate. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery. Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Anna M. Wedde, 54, wife of Luther Wedde, a lifelong res ident of Barry Township, Ashland RD1, died on Wednesday at 4:50 p.m. in her home. She had been in ill health for five months.
A daughter of the late Samuel and Isadora Hadesty Hinkel Mrs. Wedde was born at Barry Township on Feb. 3, 1909.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ (Kimmel's) and its Sunday School at Ashland RD, had been a teacher in the Primary Department, and a member of the Women's Guild.
Surviving are, her husband; two sons, Harry Wedde of Lavelle and Boyd Wedde, of Ashland RD1; two daughters Annetta and Margaret, both at home; five grandchildren; two brothers, Earl Hinkel of Frackville, and Elmer Hinkel od Ashland RD; five sisters: Mrs. Carrie Kimmel of Ashland RD1; Mrs. Ruth Hartzel of Shamokin RD2, Mrs. Arthur Weikel of Gowen City, Mrs. Mary Leach of Mowry, and Mrs. Alma Drumheller of Paxinos.
Funeral Sunday afternoon from St. John's United Church of Christ (Kimmel's), Ashland RD. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. The Rev. Calvin Pue, pastor of the church of Fountain Springs, will officiate at services. Lawrence E. Rothermel Funeral Home, Klingerstown, will officiate at services.

     Grace M. Kembel was born on 1 December 1935, Fountain, Schuylkill County, PA.2 She married Robert C. Huntzinger.2 Grace M. Kembel married Boyd Luther Wedde, son of Luther Vallen Wedde and Anna Margaret Hinkel, circa 1982.1 Grace M. Kembel died on 4 July 2021, Schuylkill County, PA, at age 85.2

Grace M Wedde, age 85, of Providence Place, Pine Grove, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021.
She was born on Sunday, December 1, 1935, in Fountain, a daughter of the late Norman W Kembel and the late Hazel S (Smith) Kembel.
She was a 1953 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School .
Grace was a teacher's aid at Hegins Hubley Elementary School prior to her retirement.
She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Hegins. Grace served on the council as a Deacon and was the first female Elder in her church. She also was a member of the church choir, and taught Sunday School and Bible School for many years.
Grace was very civic minded serving on the Bicentennial Committee in 1976, the Hegins Craft Fair Committee, and the Relay for Life for many years. She was also an entertainer, singing at numerous weddings and funerals, and was known for her comedy routines.
Her first husband, Robert C Huntzinger passed away in 1975; her second husband, Boyd L Wedde passed away in 2018.
She is survived by four daughters, Barbara S Huntsinger and her husband Darrell of Valley View, Rose M Huntzinger of Lititz, Molly A Masser of Mechanicsburg, and Peggy A Snyder and her husband Russell of Elizabethville; a son, Randy Wedde; a former son in law, Michael D Masser of Pitman; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Claude Schach officiating.
Burial was made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Providence Place of Pine Grove, c/o Julie Wallace, 24 Hikes Hollow Road, Pine Grove PA 17963.
