ROBERT C. HUNTZINGER
Funeral services for Robert Charles Huntzinger, 47, of Hegins, owner and operator of the Valley Citizen Press, Valley View, were held Wednesday morning in Friedens United Church of Christ, Hegins. The Rev. Herbert Dewees officiated and interment was in the Friedens Cemetery, Hegins. Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View was in charge of the arrangements.
Born in Hegins October 6, 1927, he was a son of the late William and Iva Gahres Huntzinger. He was stricken ill Friday evening shortly after returning from the Pennsylvania Dutch Fersommling held in the Line Mountain High School in Herndon, and died Saturday morning.
He was a graduate of the Milton Hershey School and served in the U. S. Army. In 1973 he purchased the Valley Citizen print shop after 26 years of employment by the Valley Citizen Company, Inc.
Surviving are his wife, the former Grace Kemble; two daughters, Rose and Molly, at home; three brothers, Roy of Glen Burnie, Md; Mark of Good Spring; Wayne A. of Hegins, township supervisor of highways; four sisters, Mrs. Alma Peifer of Lebanon; Mrs. Blanche Carl of Hegins; Mrs. Esther Zacker of Westville Grove, N.J.: Mrs. Anna Linsey of Woodstock, Va.
