Velma J. Kieffer, 90, of Northumberland, passed away on August 26, 2024, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born in Leck Kill on November 6, 1933, a daughter of the late Maude and Clarence R. Masser.
She was a member of Himmel's Church, Dornsife. Velma was an avid sewer and crotched lap robes for the Church. Velma liked doing word puzzles and visiting with family.
Velma is survived by her son, Paul (Gail) Kieffer of Dornsife; daughter, Jean (James) Cutler of South Carolina; grandchildren, Alexander, Dustin (Casie), Vanessa (Louis), Victoria; great-grandchildren, Reese and Jackson; two brothers, William (Darlene) Masser, Clarence (Gert) Masser Jr; two sisters, Betty (David) Martz, Barbara Baumert; two sister-in-laws, Gerri Masser, Nancy Masser. She was preceded in death by her husband Mark Kieffer, brothers, Stermin and Charles Masser.
A visitation will be held on August 31, 2024 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Himmel's Church, Dornsife. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Himmel's Church, Dornsife. Interment will take place in the Himmel's Church Cemetery, Dornsife.3
She was buried on 31 August 2024, at Himmel's Church Cemetery, Rebuck, Northumberland County, PA.3
