ELIZABETHVILLE - Henry W. Henninger, 81, of Elizabethville, died June 20th at home.
He was born February 11, 1938 in Elizabethville the son of the late Melvin and Anna C. (Snyder) Henninger.
Henry was married to Lorraine (Schaeffer) Henninger for 56 years.
He was the owner of Henninger's Meat Market, Elizabethville, since 1976 where many customers enjoyed his famous homemade ring bologna and sausage. Henry enjoyed sharing in the faith and fellowship of St. John's Lutheran Church where he served on the Church Council, chairman of the Property Committee, Sunday School Superintendent, Strawberry Festival committee, and sang in the choir.
In addition to his wife Lorraine he is survived by his sons Michael W. Henninger of Elizabethville, David H. Henninger and his wife Jess of Hegins, daughter Joanne Rheem and her husband David of Harrisburg. He was also survived by his grandchildren who were the love of his life: Kyle and his wife Christine, Megan, Alejandro, Brooke, Ryan, Kelsey, Abigail, and Addison, and great grandson Diesel Ray.
He was preceded in death by a sister Janet Erdman.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 22nd at St. John's Lutheran "Hill" Church from 10:00 -11:00 AM. A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 AM. A private graveside service was held at St. John Cemetery Berrysburg.
The family requests that memorial donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, PO Box 270, Berrysburg, PA 17005.

ELIZABETHVILLE - Lorraine A. Henninger, age 83, of Elizabethville, died November 18, 2021, at Frey Village in Middletown.
She was born on January 9, 1938 in Pine Grove, PA the daughter of the late James and Anna (Brown) Schaeffer.
Lorraine was married to Henry W. Henninger for 56 years.
She was the owner of Henninger's Meat Market, Elizabethville, with her husband Henry since 1976.
Lorraine enjoyed sharing in the faith and fellowship of St. John's Lutheran Church where she served on the Church Council, Sunday School teacher and Vacation Bible School Director, Strawberry Festival committee, served as the director of the church choir, and several other church committees. Her church family was an important and instrumental part of her life.
She is survived by her sons Michael W. Henninger of Elizabethville, David H. Henninger and his wife Jess of Hegins, daughter Joanne Rheem and her husband David of Harrisburg. She was also survived by her grandchildren who were the love of her life: Kyle and his wife Christine, Megan and her husband Tim, Alejandro, Brooke, Ryan, Kelsey, Abigail, and Addison, and great grandson Diesel Ray.

Schwalm, son of Ira Irvin Schwalm and Mildred Elizabeth Rothermel, circa 1998.1,2 Lorraine M. Kessler died on 6 August 2020, Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Dauphin County, PA, at age 79.3

Lorraine M. Schwalm, age 79 of Valley View, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Hershey Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
She was born on January 2, 1941, in Hegins, PA, a daughter of the late Charles and Elsie (Sweinhart) Kessler.
Lorraine was a graduate of the former Hegins-Hubley High School. After raising her children, Lorraine furthered her education and graduated from McCann's School of Business with an associates degree in Accounting.
She worked in the Accounting/Bookkeeping department for Quandel Construction, Minersville, and later for Metal Industries, Gratz, until her retirement.
Lorraine was a very active member, participating in various leadership positions and committees within St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View.
She was also a member of Red Hat Society.
In addition to her parents, Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Schwalm, in 2016; husband Bruce Wiest; and husband Charles Witmer; a step son, Terry Schwalm, grandson Chase Witmer; and brothers Leonard and Charles Kessler Jr.
She is survived by three sons, David Witmer and wife Julie; Robert Witmer and wife DeLana; Ronald Wiest and wife Kimberly, all of Virginia; a daughter, Michele Pigott and husband Jeffrey of Harrisburg; 3 step sons, Scott Schwalm and wife Gretchen of Dauphin; Dennis Schwalm and wife Christine; Jason Schwalm and wife Amanda; and daughter in law, Amy Schwalm, all of Hegins; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; one sister, Betty Klinger, FL.
Services will be held at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View, on Monday, August 10, 2020, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Duane Bardo officiating.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service Monday at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church.
Burial will be made in Barry Salem United Methodist Cemetery, Weisample.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Andrew's United Methodist People Fund.
