James F. Mace, 75, of Spring Glen, died suddenly Monday morning at his home, of a heart attack.
He was a son of the late George and Clara Mace, Berrysburg. He was a member of Simeon's Lutheran Church, Gratz and the Gratz I OOF Lodge 563.
His wife, the former Irma A. Weiss, died 28 years ago.
Surviving are these children, Charles, Millersburg; Chester, Hegins; Allen, Spring Glen; Homer, Millersburg; Mrs. Hannah Wagner of Blain, Pa; Mrs. Elsa Straub, Lykens, RD; Mrs. Lilliam Schwalm, Valley View; Spring Glen; Herbert, Spring Glen; Mrs. Bette Shade, Mephanicsburg; 41 grandchildren, 30 greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Hannah Fritz, Mrs.. Lillian Zimmerman, Philadelphia; two brothers, Henry, Philadelphia; George, Yardley.
Funeral services Thursday afternoon from Marlin S. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow. Rev. W. D. Artz will officiate. Interment in Gratz Union Cemetery.
