     Florence F. Borkoski was born on 13 October 1922, Jordan Township, Northumberland County, PA.2 She was the daughter of Robert Borkoski and Anna Popoloski.2 Florence F. Borkoski married Gurney Guy Schwalm, son of Albert Peter Schwalm and Barbara A. Clark, on 7 April 1953.1,2 Florence F. Borkoski died on 13 December 2009, Paxis Alzheimer's Facility, Easton, Northampton County, PA, at age 87.2

DORNSIFE - Florence F. Schwalm, 87, of the Dornsife area, passed away Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, at Paxis Alzheimer's Facility, Easton, where she was a patient for three weeks.
She was born Oct. 13, 1922, in Jordan Township, Northumberland County, a daughter of the late Robert and Anna (Popoloski) Borkoski. On April 7, 1953, she married Gurney G. Schwalm, who preceded her in death on Feb. 16, 1959.
She was educated in the Morning Star School in Washington Township, Northumberland County.
Florence was a homemaker and was Catholic.
She enjoyed gardening and quilting.
She is survived by one son, James Schwalm, of Lansdale; one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Jonathan Greene, of Phoenixville; one granddaughter, Alexandra Greene, of Phoenixville; one sister, Eleanor Borkoski, of Northumberland; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lorraine Lucas and Sarah Kreywiski, and two brothers, Robert, Jr. and Joseph Borkoski.
A viewing will be held from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, 1133 Ridge Road, Klingerstown, followed by the funeral at 11:30 with the Rev. Jan Mills officiating.
Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Erdman.
