     Barbara A. Clark is also referred to as Barbery in some sources.3 She was born on 22 July 1874.1,3 She was the daughter of Sophie Romberger.2 Barbara A. Clark married Albert Peter Schwalm, son of Frederick Stein Schwalm and Sarah Ann Rubendall, circa April 1895.1,4 Barbara A. Clark died on 2 December 1940, Klingerstown, Schuylkill County, PA, at age 66.5,6

Mrs. Barbara Schwalm Succumbs To Pneumonia
Mrs. Barbara Schwalm, 66, of Klingerstown, died at her home Monday afternoon, a victim of pneumonia after an illness of several days. She was well known in that section having spent most of her lifetime there. Her husband, Albert, preceded her in death eleven years ago.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. William Schwalm and Mrs. Jacob Schlegel, both of Valley View; Mrs. Harlen Heim, Dornsife R. D; John, Schwalm, Klingerstown; Ira Schwalm, of Spring Glen; Gurney, Walter and Tillie Schwalm, all at home; four brothers and four sisters, Creston Clark, Klingerstown; Samuel and John Clark, Leck Kill; Gurney Clark, Hegins; Mrs. Charles Wiest, Sacramento; Mrs. Bertha Wolfgang, Pitman; Mrs. William Fetter, Klingerstown, and Mrs. Lloyd Herb, Pitman.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at the home and will be continued in Klinger's church at Erdman. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.
