     Mabel Pearl Klinger is also referred to as Pearlie Mabel in some sources.2 She was born in October 1883.3 Some sources record that Mabel Pearl Klinger was born in 1884.4,5 She married William Oscar Klinger circa 1899.4,6 At the time of the 1920 Census, Mabel and William were operating a family farm in Upper Mahanoy Township, Northumberland County, where their household included 8 children.4 Mabel Pearl Klinger died on 26 February 1951.5,7 She was buried at St. Michael's Lutheran and Reformed Church Cemetery, Klingerstown, Schuylkill County, PA.5

     William Oscar Klinger was born on 11 June 1874, Northumberland County, PA.2 He was baptized on 13 September 1874, Salem (Herb's) Church, Rough and Ready, Schuylkill County, PA.3 He married Mabel Pearl Klinger circa 1899.4,5 At the time of the 1900 Census, William and his wife Mabel, along with his son Carlos, were living with William's parents in Upper Mahanoy Township, Northumberland County, PA. William and Mabel had been married less than a year.6 At the time of the 1920 Census, Mabel and William were operating a family farm in Upper Mahanoy Township, Northumberland County, where their household included 8 children.4 The 1930 Census lists Mabel and William as farmers living in Upper Mahanoy Township with 9 of their children (Edwin, 30; Homer A., 20; Ralph R., 21; Raymond M., 19; Helen I., 17; Lucy A., 14; Eva J., 10; Paul W., 6; Guy J., 1 6/12) and their grandson, Marlin (age 9).7 William Oscar Klinger died on 16 December 1965, Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, Montour County, PA, at age 91.8,9,10

William O. Klinger, aged 91, a lifelong resident of Klingerstown R. D., was dead on arrival at Geisinger Medical Center at Danville on Thursday evening at 9:50 p.m.
Son of the late Marcus and Elisa Delb Klinger, he was !born June 11, 1874 at Klingerstown R. D., in Northumberland County. He was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Klingerstown. His wife, Mabel, nee Klinger, preceded him in death in 1951.
He is survived by ten childdren: Edwin, Ralph, Ray, Paul, and Guy Klinger, all of Klingerstown R. D; Mrs. Stella Klinger and Ms. Fred Clark, Valley View; Homer Klinger, Mount Carmel; Mrs. Stanley Wolfgang, Herndon R. D; Mrs. Luther Brown, Leek Kill; twenty grandchildren; sixty-two great grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon from St. Michael's Lutheran and United Church of Christ Church, Klingerstown, with the Rev. Mr. James Henderschedt of Leck Kill, officiating. Interment was made in the adjoining church cemetery. The Lawrence E. Rothermel Funeral Home of Klinerstown R. D. 1, had charge of arrangements.2
He was buried at St. Michael's Lutheran and Reformed Church Cemetery, Klingerstown, Schuylkill County, PA.8
