She was born in Rough n Ready on May 19, 1935, a daughter of the late Irene K. and Charles F. Mace. Evelyn was employed as a seamstress both at home and for Dalmatia Blouse. She was a member of County Line United Methodist Church, Dalmatia, Church Family Care and Share, and the Hickory Corners Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.
    Evelyn is survived by her, three daughters, Lucy wife of Kerry Eyster of Dornsife, Joan Long of Dalmatia, Carolyn Osman of Dalmatia; son, Alvin and wife Angela Zeiders of Dalmatia; daughter-in-Law Diane Mace of Dalmatia; brother, Marvin Mace of Dalmatia; two sisters, Sandra Wida of Mt Carmel, Jean Mace of Berrysburg; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband John Zeiders, son, Ronald Mace, daughter, Patricia Erdman, brother, Melvin Mace, brother, Harold Mace, and sister, Shirley Sedeshe.
    A viewing will be held on August 11, 2016 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow. Funeral Ceremony will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at 11:00 am at the James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, with Rev. Rick Anderson, officiating. Interment will take place in the County Line Cemetery, Dalmatia.1

    In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in I death by three brothers, Francis, Johnny, and Arlington Doone; and one sister, Laura Edwards.
    Family and friends are welcome from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Lincoln Chapel United Methodist Church, Laurelton, followed by the funeral at 11, with Pastor Samantha McElwee officiating.

    Phares Henry Reeder, 40, a Klingerstown farmer, died at 1:30 o'clock this morning at the Sunbury Community Hospital, where he had been admitted Tuesday afternoon. Death was caused by complications resulting from an illness contracted Easter Sunday.
    He is survived by his wife, Laura Snyder Reeder, his father, Edward Reeder, of White Deer; two daughters, Harriet and Bertha; two sons, Albert and Edward, all at home, and one sister, Mrs. Charles Covert, of Orange, N. J.

Her favorite things to do were attending flea markets and yard sales, playing softball, where she kept score and ran a concession stand for many years. Peggy enjoyed knitting baby blankets, puzzles, Christmas time, vacations, her cats and spending time with the grandkids.
    She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Laura and David Moore, Williamsport; one son, Charles E. Green Jr., Montgomery; four grandchildren, Zachery, Elizabeth, Caleb and Rebekah; three brothers, David Haught, Guy Haught and James Haught; and one sister, Betty Hagembach. In addition to her lifelong companion, Charles E. Green Sr., who preceded her in death on Oct. 29, 2006, Peggy was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas Haught, Albert Snyder and Edward Reeder and one sister, Harriet Wertz.
    Funeral services will be conducted from the Clinton Baptist Church, 60 Warren St., Montgomery at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, with Rev. Larry A. LeFeber officiating. Interment will be in the Twin Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call on Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are being handled by the Galen R. Betzer Funeral Service, 40 E.     LEWISBURG - James 0. Wertz, 66, of 107 S. Armory Drive died Tuesday, April 28, 1992, at his home.
    Born in Milton, Sept. 14, 1925, he was the son of the late Oscar and Eva (Valentine) Wertz. He was married to the former Harriet M. Reeder.
    He was employed as a finisher at Pennsylvania House, Lewisburg, and later in maintainance department at Bucknell University.
    Mr. Wertz was an Army veteran of World War II, having served in European Theatre.
    He was a member of Christ Evangelical Luthern Church; American Legion, Lewisburg; and Loyal Order of Moose, Milton.
    He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Kline, in 1991.
    The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton, by the Rev. Fred L. Romig. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery, where a military service will be conducted.
    Visitors may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
    Contributions may be made to Evangelical Hospice, in care of Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
