He struck a cable suspended in the air, and suffered spinal and other injuries which resulted in death about 2 weeks later.2,4

    Paul L. Underkoffler Sr., 42, of 101 Arch St., Wiconisco, died yesterday at Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg. He was injured in a snowmobile accident Feb. 14.
    Mr. Underkoffler, born in Wiconisco, was a son of Mervin and Julia Snyder Underkoffler. He was employed by Dick's Esso Service Station, Lykens and was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and Wiconisco Fire Company.
    Surviving are his parents of Wiconisco, his widow, the former Loretta Malick; a son Paul L. Jr. and a daughter Cathy Jean, at home five sisters, Mrs. Marion Wertz, Elizabethville; Mrs. Betty Maurer, Mrs. Barbara Paul, Lykens; Mrs. J. Irene Bixler, Mrs. Emily Miller, RD Lykens; four brothers, Donald and Dale, Wiconisco; James, Northumberland; Harold, RD Tower City.
    Services. will be Wednesday at Roy W. D. Schaffstall Funeral Home, 406 Market St., Lykens with the Rev. Lloyd C. McCarren officiating. Interment in Wiconisco Cemetery.

    Loretta J. Underkoffler, 87, of Wiconisco, passed away Thursday at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey
    She was born in Dayton, Williams Township, Sept. 26, 1929, a daughter of the late Robert and Jennie Ackley Malick.
    She was a 1944 graduate of the former Williamstown High School. She was a retired employee of Williams Valley High School and a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul L. Underkoffler; a son, Paul L. Underkoffler Jr; and 11 brothers and sisters.
    Mrs. Underkoffler is survived by a daughter, Cathy J. Underkoffler; son, Joseph C. Guglielmo; and granddaughter, Christiana Guglielmo, all of Wiconisco; faithful companions, Daisy Charlie, Bella, Josie and Gunnar; nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Calvary United Methodist Church, 519 Pottsville St., with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating.
    Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3544 N.
