    George S. Conz, 73, of Millersburg and formerly of Hummelstown, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014, in the Manor at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg, with his loving family by his side. Born in Hummelstown on June 16, 1941, he was the son of the late Charles C. and S. Elizabeth Rupp Conz. George was a supervisor for Hershey Foods, a hunter education instructor for the PA Game Commission, and a deputy for the PA Fish Commission. He was a 1959 graduate of the former Hummelstown High School. George was a member of Stoverdale United Methodist Church, Derry Township. George was a very active member and past president of the Hummelstown Field & Stream Association; a member of the Palmyra Sportsman Club, Blue Ridge Sportsman Club, Highspire Boating Association, Western Clinton Sportsman Association, Dauphin County Anglers & Conservationists, North American Hunting Association, National Rifle Association, Capital Area Sportsman For Youth, and a co-founder, past president and banquet chair of the Stoney Valley Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation. He was the assistant troop leader for the Boy Scout Troop 66, Hummelstown, the assistant coordinator for the former High On Kids Youth Enjoying Summer Program, and a former member of the Hummelstown Fire Department. George was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved sharing his passion with others. Some of his greatest joys were teaching kids about hunting and fishing and spending time at his cabin, "Champ's Camp", in Clinton County where he knew the mountains like the back of his hand. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by a wife, Barbara J. Bressler Conz; and a brother, John W. Rupp. He is survived by his beloved wife of 18 years, Donna M. Brosius Conz, whom he married on August 24, 1996; his children, Jeffrey H. Conz of Marysville, Tammy L. Fackler of Palmyra, Chris Conz of Ohio, Karen L. Soles of Hawaii, Kelly J. Frank of Palmyra, Todd M. Conz of Hummelstown, Randy G. Carr of New York, Tammy M. Bordner of Halifax, Kendall D. Carr of Virginia, and Matthew J. Carr of Halifax; a brother, Charles M. Conz husband of Lois J. of Hummelstown; a sister-in-law, June Rupp of Iowa; 20 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 22, 2014 at 11:30 AM in the Trefz & Bowser Funeral Home, Inc., 114 West Main Street, Hummelstown. Interment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg. Friends are invited to call for a viewing in the funeral home Monday from 10 AM until time of the services. In honor of George's love for hunting and the outdoors, please feel free to wear camo.     DALMATIA - Matthew Jason Carr, age 52, of Dalmatia, PA died December 31, 2025, at UPMC West Shore. He was born on September 27, 1973 in Harrisburg, PA the son of James Carr and Donna (Brosius) Conz.
    Matthew was married to Kelly (Miller) Carr for 13 years.
    Matthew attended Millersburg High School.He worked as a ground trimmer for Asplundh Tree Experts, and prior to that he worked for Cleveland Cliffs, and MI Windows and Doors.Matthew was a lifetime member of the Millersburg Fire Company of 36 years. He was an avid YouTube "do-it-yourselfer." He enjoyed screen printing and sign making, and was a friend to everyone.
    In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Kelly, sons Noah Carr, Cameron Zimmerman, and Donovan Zimmerman, and daughter Alliyah Zimmerman, and one granddaughter Ellieanna Zimmerman. He is also survived by his brother Kendall Carr and his wife Michelle, and sister Tammy Bordner. He was a proud pet father to his beloved dogs Toby, Finn, and Raven.He was preceded in death by a brother Randy Carr.
    There will be a Celebration of Life time on Sunday, January 18, 2026 from 12:00 noon - 3:00 PM at the Elizabethville Events Venue, 45 S Market St, Elizabethville, PA 17023.
