    Carol F. Dietrich, 75, formerly of Williamstown, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024, at UPMC, West Shore, Mechanicsburg.
    Born and raised in Hegins, on Sunday, October 9, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Homer and Helen Bixler Morgan. Carol was a 1969 graduate of Tri-Valley High School.
    She was employed in the deli at the former Kochers IGA and Dayton Market.
    She was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, enjoyed gardening, and doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Carol was an excellent cook and baker, and she loved making food for her family.
    She will be remembered for being a devoted mother and grandmother. There is nothing she would not do for her children. Her granddaughters brought her great pride.
    In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by six siblings.
    Surviving are her son, Kevin M. Dietrich; her daughter Mary E. Bixler and her husband Brian, both of Dauphin; her husband, Charles Dietrich of Williamstown; her two granddaughters, Emilee and Laurin Bixler; three brothers, Dale and Thomas Morgan, both of Valley View, and Dennis Morgan, Gordon; a sister, Patricia Neumyster, Pottsville; numerous nieces and nephews.
    A visitation will held held from 5-6 pm on Thursday, October 17, 2024, from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City. Memorial services will begin at 6:00 pm with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating. Carol will be laid to rest privately in the St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View.

    MILLERSBURG -- Henry C. Hilbert, 66, of Millersburg RD 1, died Saturday at his home.
    He was a member of David's United Church of Christ, Killinger, and a retired employe of Muskins Shoe Factory here.
    Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Emma Hilbert; four daughters, Mrs. Ronald Wetzel, of Tremont, Mrs. Ronald Weaver and Mrs. Franklin Dietrick, both of Berrysburg, and Miss Susie Hilbert, at home; a son, Henry H. Jr., at home; three brothers, James and John, both of Middleburg, and Albert, of Paxtonville; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Keister, of York, and Mrs. Annie Hackenberry, of Mount Pleasant Mills; and four grandchildren.
    Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home in Berrysburg with the Rev. Richard B. Starr, pastor of Salem Lutheran Church, Killinger, officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.
    Friends may call at the funeral home Monday after 7 p.m.

Deitrich, Berrysburg, and Susan M.
