    Dennis Ness Obituary
    Dennis L. Ness, 71, of Gratz, passed away on October 7, 2023. He was born in York on March 8, 1952, a son of the late Ruth and Elwood Ness. Dennis was enjoying his retired life.
    He was a social member of the Diamond Jubilee VFW Post 2385, Gratz. Dennis loved his grandchildren, the Miami Dolphins, his dog Freckles, he enjoyed hunting with his son-in-law Tim, family gatherings, watching the history channel and talking with friends and neighbors. Dennis loved talking about how very proud he was of his grandchildren.
    Dennis is survived by his two daughters, Amy Klinger wife of Tim from Lykens Twp, Heather Thompson of Millersburg; two brother-in-laws, Cecil Thompson Jr husband of Melanie from Llewellyn, Edward Thompson Sr husband of Nicole from Elizabethville; two grandsons, Dennis Klinger, Chase Thompson; three great-grandchildren, Erik, Ella, Evan. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Katelynn "Sissy" Kintzer.
    Visitation will be held on October 20, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Klingers Zion Lutheran Church, Erdman. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 am.
    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to James A. Reed Funeral Home, PO Box 8, Pillow, PA 17080.1
