Charles “Chaz” Tobias Jr., 64, of Pottsville, died Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family.
BornMay 6, 1957, in Quan- tico, Va., he was a son of Rosella (Wetzel) Tobias and the late Charles J. Tobias Sr.
He was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School.
Chaz was an experienced auto body technician last working at Boat & RV Superstore, Hamburg.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Louis Tobias, and a sister, Jeanette Edwards.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife of 43 years, Sherry (Smith) Tobias, of Pottsville; two daughters, Angel Tobias, of Saint Clair, and Kelly Tobias, of Pottsville; sister, Linda McCall, of Pottsville; grandchildren, Jonathan Killian, of Pottsville, and Clara Killian, of Saint Clair; great-granddaughter, Kamryn Knoll, of Saint Clair; nieces and nephews, including Robert and Jeffrey Weismiller; his beloved dogs, Sally, Gizmo, Tucker and Twila.
Memorial services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, at Bruce T. Hart Funeral Home, 110 N. Second St., Saint Clair, PA 17970. Friends may call from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. TheRev. JohnWallacewill be officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, P.O. Box 322, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972. Bruce T. Louis V. Tobias, 56, of Pottsville, died Saturday at the home of his mother in Pottsville.
Born in Pottsville, he was a son of Rosella Wetzel Tobias, Pottsville, and the late Charles Tobias. He attended Pottsville schools. He was employed by Krammes Kollision Center, Pottsville until becoming ill.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanette Edwards.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, the former Debbie Martin; two sons, Louis C. Tobias and his companion, Katie Bedway, Pottsville, and Christopher Tobias, Pottsville; twograndsons, Jace and Cassidy; two siblings, Charles Tobias and his wife, Sherry, Pottsville, and Linda McCall and her husband, Jeff, Pottsville; nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the family's convenience.2

Thomas V. Noel, 25, of Pottsville, passed away Friday at his residence.
Born in Pottsville, June 10, 1981, he was a son of Walter "Bud" Noel and the late Jeannette M. Tobias Edwards.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville.
He was most recently employed by Boat & RV Center, Hamburg, and worked for Ken's Tire, Pottsville, for eight years.
He was an avid fisherman and had a great love of the outdoors. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Taylor N. Stiles, in 2003.
He was a devoted father to his son, Colin Thomas Noel, at home; his fiance, Nicole Stiles; a brother, Buddy Noel; and a grandmother, Rosella Tobias, all of Pottsville. Also surviving are aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and his best friend, Uncle Chas.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Lord-Bixler Funeral Home Inc., 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville, with the Rev. Susan T. Reichenberg officiating. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
