Mildred L. Lenker, 94, Herndon
HERNDON -- Mildred L. Lenker, 94, of Herndon, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, Jan. 27, Medical Center, Danville. She had been in failing health since August 2012.
She was born July 29, 1919, in East Cameron Township, a daughter of the late Joel and Laura (Eister) Renn. She was married to Carl M. Lenker, who preceded her in death. She was devoted to him.
She attended Emmanuel Wesleyan Church, Gratz.
Mildred enjoyed growing flowers, gardening, crocheting, traveling to area camp meetings and going to Florida in the winter. She was a kind and loving person and was always ready to listen but never to interfere.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Raymond C. and Florence Lenker, of Herndon; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Joy; four brothers, Ike, Paul, Albert and Clarence; and two sisters, Florence Summers and Irene Renn.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Manor Care, Sunbury, for the special care Mildred received.
A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Friday in Emmanuel Wesleyan Church, Gratz, followed by the funeral at 11 with the Rev. Daniel Durkee and the Rev. Sheldon Habecker officiating.
Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mildred's memory to the building fund of Emmanuel Wesleyan Church, 6297 Route 25, Gratz, PA 17030.
Arrangements are by the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sun-bury.

Mr. Dietz was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and a member of the International Typographical Union.
