  Funeral services were read for Franklin Melvin Culp from Macy and Son Funeral Home on Monday, Aug. 11, with Rev. C.C. Barnes officiating. Private committal services were held in the Portland Crematorium. Culp was born on April 30, 1884, in Minnesota and in 1906 in Portland married Clara Fietta, who survives. He died August 8 in McMinnville.
  Surviving besides his widow is one daughter, Vera Lorene Gillanders, 7823 SE 49th street, Portland.
