  Albert Shirk, 69, Jonestown Route One, died Sunday morning in the Good Samaritan Hospital, He had been ailing for several years. His wife, Margaret (Kingcr) Shirk, preceded him in death in February of this-year.
  He was born in Bismarck, now Quentin, Lebanon County, the son of the late Samuel and Mary (Hayes) Shirk. He held membership in Christ, Lutheran Church, Bellegrove.
  He is survived by two daughters, Ellen, wife of Lloyd Blauch, Annville Route One and Hattie, wife of Louis Sabo, Rexmont; one son, Luther Shirk, Jonestown Route One; 16 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Margaret, wife of John Grostefon, and Stella wife of Grover Brandt, both of Lebanon and Mabel, wife of Willian Zellers, Rexmont.

  Mrs. Margaret E. Klinger, aged sixty-five years, died this morning at her home in Fredericksburg. Death followed an illness of one year. She was bedfast for the past week. Mrs. Klinger was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Annville. Her husband, Charles Klinger, preceded her in death ten years ago. Survivors are a son, Melvin Klinger, Fredericksburg; a daughter, Meda Fidler, Fredericksburg; four grandchildren; and two brothers, Jacob Hoover and Nicholas Hoover, both of Millersburg.

Born in Annville June 21, 1923, he was a son of the late Charles A. and Meta Klinger Fidler. He was a retired employee of the former Bethlehem Steel Co. of Lebanon, a member of Campbelltown American Legion and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He attended St. Paul the Apostle Church, Annville. Surviving are seven children, Carol, wife of Ronald Gordon, Fredericksburg, Charles, husband of Renate Fidler, Harrisburg, Thomas, husband of Norrine Fidler, Palmyra, Allen, husband of Carol Fidler, Fairfax, Va., Cathy, wife of Gary Moats, Palmyra, David, husband of Barbara Fidler, Annville, and Christopher Fidler of Jonestown; also 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sister Dolly Lesher, Lebanon; half brother Ronald Yeich, Jonestown; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son Donald Fidler; and sister Shirley Roof. Funeral Thursday at Thompson Funeral Home. Interment Grand View Memorial Park.
