Dean was a retired truck driver for New Penn of Lebanon and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Annville American Legion, Maennerchor Club and enjoyed golfing and hunting. He is survived by a daughter, Amy Jo wife of Chuck Hansell of Lebanon; son, Richard C. husband of Michele Klinger of Lebanon; grandsons, Jonathon Klinger, Dean M. Klinger, Jason M. Hansell, Christopher D. Hansell, Charles B. Hansell and Adam B. Hansell, all of Lebanon; David S. Klinger of Palmyra; Nathan C. Hansell of Akron; step grandchildren, Samantha Boyer and Ricki Boyer both of Lebanon; five great grandchildren; sister, Carol wife of Henry Brandt of Annville. He was preceded in death by a son, Dean E. Klinger. Funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Rohland Funeral Home, Inc. of Lebanon is handling his arrangements.
