  He was born Oct. 22, 1924 in Harrisburg to the late Wade M. and Beulah (Zimmerman) Davis.
  He was retired as a computer analyst and programmer at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, and had worked at Olmstead Air Force Base, Middletown; an Army veteran of World War II, receiving the Good Conduct, American Theater Service and Victory medals; a member, trustee and member of the pulpit nominating and music committees of Duncannon Presbyterian Church and a member of the Carlindian Barbershop Chorus, Carlisle, Liverpool American Legion Post 364 and Millerstown Loyal Order of Moose 925; and enjoyed hunting, singing (barbershop, church and choir), woodworking, community theater, volunteering at The Manor at Perry Village and playing Santa Claus.
  He was the widower of Ida Jane Myers Davis.
  Surviving are two sons, Donald D. of Holtwood and Mel M. of Houston, Texas; a brother-in-law, Robert Morris of Liverpool; two grandchildren, Jennifer M. Stetler and Seth D. Davis; and two great-grandchildren, Vaughn Stetler and Austin Stetler.
  He was preceded in death by siblings, Jean Kreiser, Evelyn Glinski and Edris Morris.
  A graveside service, with military honors, will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 12, in Snyder’s United Methodist Cemetery, Route 274, New Bloomfield. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. in his church, 3 N. High St., with the Rev. Dr. Krisana Poontajak officiating. Visitation and refreshments will follow the memorial service in the church.

  Robert "Mo" Morris, 83, formerly of Liverpool, PA, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013 in Kinkora Pythian Home, Duncannon. Robert was born in Quincy, MA on November 1, 1929, the son of the late David H. and Ellen H. (Joss) Morris.
  He retired as a Master Chief Petty Officer, following 23 years of service in the United States Navy. Most recently, Robert worked as an Electrical Inspector for Commonwealth Code Inspection Service, Manheim, PA. He was a member Newport Assembly of God Church and spent countless hours volunteering for the Bread of Life Outreach (BOLO), a non-profit food distribution ministry run by his church. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and tending to his wood pile.
  The widower of Edris Betty (Davis) Morris. Robert is survived by his daughter, Jeri Morris, of Harrisburg; his son, David H. Morris, II, husband of Crystal, of Liverpool; and his grandson, David H. Morris, III, also of Liverpool. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Chelsey L. Morris, and his three brothers, David Morris, Albert Morris and William Morris
  Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 30, 2013 in the Newport Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Gary Bellis officiating. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. There will also be a visitation following the service at the church. Burial will be in Snyder's Cemetery, New Bloomfield, PA at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Michael J. Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville.   He was a retired Superintendent of the Water Works for the City Of Harrisburg located at the DeHart Reservoir. Clair had worked for the water works from 1942 till his retirement in 1982. He had helped with the initial construction of the DeHart Reservoir.
  He was a member of St. James Church, Carsonville. He was a social member of the Reliance Hose Co #1, Elizabethville and member of The Water Works Operators Association of Pennsylvania.
  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
  He was the widower of his loving wife, Lorene C. (Miller) Zimmerman.
  Surviving are 2 daughters, Marilyn M., wife of Harry Seibert, Harrisburg and Sandra A., wife of Galen Lentz, Elizabethville; 2 brothers, Glenn Zimmerman and Dale Zimmerman, both of Halifax; 2 sisters, Merle English, Tremont and Dorothy Zimmerman, Etters; 5 grandchildren, Keith Seibert, and Brian Seibert, both of Harrisburg, Lorie Hoch, Elizabethville, Glen Lentz, Elizabethtown, and Ryan Lentz, Elizabethville; 9 great grandchildren, Christopher, Marissa, Joshua, Brandon, Kaleb, Katelyn, Kierstan, Tristan and Declan. He was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Zimmerman and 2 sisters, Arletta Paulus and Verna Perry .
  Services will be held at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes, Inc., Elizabethville on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 3 p.m., with Rev. Ray Hackett officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 2-3 p.m.
