    William D. Miller Sr., 82, of Sacramento area, died Tuesday in Good Samaritan Hospital.
    He was born in Hubley Township, July 16, 1901, a son of the late Titus and Jennie Carl Miller.
    He was a retired miner. Mr. Miller was a member of St. Peter's United Methodist Church, Fearnot, and Red-men Lodge, Spring Glen.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Iva Klouser; a daughter, Ethel Kahler, Hegins area; five sons, William Jr., Hegins area Lyle, Valley View, Ivan, Marysville, Mark, Annville, and Myles, Carlisle; 13 grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren; two brothers, Titus, Hegins, and Harry, Sacramento; a sister, Jennie Shadle, Hegins area.
    Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Church, Fearnot. The Rev. Kenneth Braun-Grundon, Sacramento, will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery. There will be no calling hours Friday evening. Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
